In Italy, there are 2-3 teams already playing this way, and the best one is Napoli ... To play 3-5-2, you need a running midfield or your defence will be alone against the opponents, with 3 defenders instead of 4 in our current formation.

Spot on. Would like to add -- we have a strolling midfield which i believe is a "word" far from running!!!

My line up considering all d absentees would be:

Abiati/Amelia
Abate-Nesta-Yepes-Zambrotta
Gattuso/Ambro-Seedorf-Flamini
Robiniho
Pato Ibra

Seedorf cannot run for sure but we cannot do without creativity in our midfield especially in d absence of Pirlo. Hoping we can win this. Forza Milan

Janku Flamini Boateng Abate
3 Central Defenders

Flamini, Boateng, Abate do know the meaning of running

Plus its easy to pick 3 from:
Nesta, Silva, Onyewu, Bonera, Papa, Yepes

Then 2 from
Antonini, Zambrotta, Abate, Bonera, Oddo, Janku

I am never a big fan of Flamini, but I do hope that he shines. If Flamini still can't performance, I say we should sell him while he is still worth some euros.
