I will just stick with the same lineup against Palermo with Robinho instead of Pato. The midfield trio of Ambro, Flamini and Prince played some of the best midfield domination(Milan wise) I seen in recent years.

with all Inter's problems(Injuries) in mind, I think this is the best time to play derby, and Milan have to go with positive approach, i just hope they move the ball faster....

Juve had some major problem before the game, but somwhow managed to win in San Siro. A derby is a derby regardless of which players are on the pitch.

No secret Ibra and Binho will start up front.

Flamini (to me), Boateng, Dinho all play better on left flank, yielding the right side to Gattuso for sure, captain will start if fit. Two spots for Pirlo, Dinho, Seedorf, Boateng and Flamini. I'd say go with Dinho and Boateng, as Pirlo just comes back, Seedorf played a few games in a roll, as well as Flamini. With Ibra connecting the midfield and attack, Binho surfs most forward with much freedom, Dinho can break through as long as one midfielder run into the box at a time.
Sorry, but zambro is simply not good enough for these matches whilst Abate has improved alot on def.

Sorry guys I've been gone for a few days..

Inzaghi is out for season??? what did he break his leg?

and Pato out again??? this is getting utterly ridiculous. This idiot can't play 3 games in a row without getting injured. I've never in my life seen something like this...

It is funny how Pato is always injured. When u actually look at Serie A players, those who play regularly for at least a mid size clubs, and are U23 or so. They all pretty much get injured then play again, injured again.... SOme say the players are not strong enough...., but I think it just might be Serie A is too rough for younger players to play, since all teams play very tight and most often or not, teams will foul hard early just to scare off these young players in the game.

the clubs know the reasons why injuries occur...they're on the field during the game they can see when injuries occur...

whatever the reasons, this is getting ridiculous....hard to build momentum throughout the season...

I am quite worried that Ronaldinho may get a start in this game...he makes no contribution defensively, and this puts us too much at risk when we play with a 3 man midfield.

Pirlo is also a player I wouldnt want to feature, as I was very impressed with how our midfield played (at times) vs Palermo.

I think KPB, Ambro, and Flamini should play, as the Frenchman really contributes to the attack with his surging runs into the box, and with the goal he scored recently, I think his confidence is now where it should be, and he could become a regular contributor to our goal tally.

So Ibra, Bino and Seedorf (hopefully he wont slow down the play too much) up front...and Nesta + Silva in the middle of defense....Not sure about the wingbacks...Abate I think is worthy of a start though, not sure about the opposite flank.

Hope this isnt a revisit of the Juve game...though in truth, it shouldnt, as we really must win this game, and establish ourselves in the table, and give the players the confidence and belief that we can really win this title

FORZA MIIIIILAN!!!!!

Here come the usual statistics !!

Results of Inter at home: 2-3-0 (WWDDD ; 9 points), 8 goals scored, 3 goals conceded

Results of Milan away: 3-1-1 (LDWWW ; 10 points), 7 goals scored, 6 goals conceded

Overall results of Inter:
- 5-5-1 (20 points, 4th)
- Last 5 games: WDWDD
- 13 goals scored (6th attack), 6 goals conceded (1st defence)

Overall results of Milan:
- 7-2-2 (23 points, 1st)
- Last 5 games: WWLWW
- 20 goals scored (2nd attack), 11 goals conceded (8th defence)

I'd tend to say that this game is going to end with a draw, because Inter doesn't concede too many goals, but they also don't score a lot ... while we tend to score but also concede !!

My bet: 2-2

But like it's the derby, and like I really want us to take profit of this week end (the first 6 teams of the table play against each other), I predict 2-1 for Milan !!

Forza Rossoneri !!
