I don't know exactly what you mean about tactical discipline but in last game he was very disciplined especially to come back to defend. Our trio midfielders (Boateng, Ambrosini, Flamini) were disciplined enough in the last game. Gattuso on the other hand is good at tactical knowledge or awareness but we get trouble when he goes forward since he can't come back quickly, like a mobile midfielder. What I like from our trio from last game match that we could attack from both sides and could change the side of attacking starting from the middle of the field which means we need player who can come back to their original position when the attacking is not on their side (Flam moved back quickly when the attacking was changed to Boateng/Antoni and vice versa). Boateng and Flam sometimes decided too fast to go forward when they were not sure if the attacking would be on their side but fortunately they were very mobile, went back to their positions quickly to accompany Ambrosini to get ready to face counter attack from the opponent. Anyway, what most important is to play the trio without Pirlo. Boateng or Gattuso I can understand the decision. Playing Pirlo as deep-playing playmaker will give us trouble very often since we lose ball often because of lack of creativity and or quality of players besides Pirlo (either it's Boateng/Ambrosini with Antonini on the left side or Gattuso/Flamini with Abate on the right side) if we play Boateng/Ambrosini-Pirlo-Gattuso/Flam. Other problem also lies that our forwards especially our attacking midfielder like Dinho and Seedorf can't track back when they lose ball. It is ok when Dinho, Seedorf and striker lose ball when our midfielders are still on their position but it will give big holes in Milan area on the half of the field if one of the fullbacks AND one or two of the midfielders are already upfront. Playing Boateng, Ambro and Gattuso/Flam give us strength on the midfield making us able to control the game, not yet with great creativity there but still we can play as unit thanks to the compact of the trio.

Thank god we don't have to deal with Maicon. No disrespect to their attacking trio. To win we have to press their flanks to death, to either break or tear up the middle. For this I vote for Dinho, he still has some tricks in his pocket.

Manchester City's Mario Balotelli Set To Support Milan During Derby Against Inter
According to Sportsmediaset, Mario Balotelli will be supporting the Rossoneri despite the presence of his former colleagues. Balotelli has never hidden his boyhood admiration for the Diavolo and caused controversy last term when he was duped into donning the Milan jersey as part of a candid camera television show |

Official Line-Up
INTER: Castellazzi, Cordoba, Lucio, Materazzi, Chivu, Zanetti, Stankovic, Obi, Sneijder, Eto'o, Milito. MILAN: Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Flamini, Seedorf, Ibrahimovic, Robinho. Good to see Abate still there. He deserves to be there for what he has done for the last games. Flamini does too, just like Seedorf. What a little bothers me is to see Zambrotta on the left side. I know he played decent-good since he played on the left side especially how he supported the attack but he did also mistakes when he was on the defending task. Robinho should take this game MUCH MORE seriously. He took the game easy and that kind of behavior can cost us big especially against big team.

I do mean it. He improved a lot compared last season. He showed it since he came as first starter for Milan this season. Solid enough at defending and decent at attacking. I choose him over Zambro or other fullbacks. For defending I am now more comfort seeing Abate than Antonini (last year Antonini was much better even not very good by normal standard).
Why do you ask it? ![]()

Best of luck to our boys. My primary concern is, which Abbiati & Seedorf are going to turn up? I'm sorry to be a pessimist, but when was the last time Seedorf had two great games in a row? Saying that, I will be more than happy to eat some humble pie later if he proves me wrong (go on Seedorf if you're reading! I dare you
)I'm really hoping for a win here (form means jacks**t when it comes to these games, as was clearly evident against Juve). It's been a while since we kicked some merda arse, and with their recent successes they've kinda forgot who runs this town, so let's put them in their place.

Either way looks like Allegri has pretty much selected what I expected (obviously without Pirlo). At this point my biggest worry is it's most likely Zambrotta vs Eto'o, who has been really dangerous this season. Flamini will have to make sure he doubles up frequently to help Zambrotta. |

But Flamini should decide better when he wants to go forward since in the last game he made wrong decision and left hole behind him because the ball owned by other Milan player was robbed by the opponent.

I'm so exited about this match.
![]() I was kinda expecting Allegri to start with 4-3-2-1 with Ronaldinho and Pirlo, but I'm not disappointed with the players selection anyway. My only worry is, they will surely play defensively, I mean, they have no real full backs, they have a guy named Obi in the middle, I think we have more legs with this setup, no to mention more technique, anyway my only worry is 3 defensive mids + Seedorf, it could be too much if Benitez is going play defensively, we will have to push up more, and we all know how vulnerable we're on counter and how good Inter are on counter. Well, let's wait and see. Good luck Milan. |
