of course not. I like Cassano too. I just don't want him to become the convenience excuse not to go for Ganso in the summer, who is younger and better. Think about it, Cassano is only two years younger than Ronaldinho.

I would be happy if we get him, but won't cry a river if we don't.

I'm totally shocked if we actually sign Cassano. I hope to G0d he doesn't screw us out of the scudetto.

The only reason I'd like this is if the following occurs:

* We Sign him for Free
* We Sell Ronaldinho
* We play Cassano as a trequartista behind Ibra and Robinho/Pato
* We sell him for a handsome profit at the end of the year and use the money to sign Ganso
* The money from Cassano and Ronaldinho can buy Ganso and maybe partially D. Luiz or Coentrao...
* We must also buy a Penalty Box Striker at some point, (mold of borri or KJH)

The longer you keep Cassano, the bigger the risk unfortunately...

milan does seem to have the magic to turn all "bad boys" into behaving. well, with the only exception of ronaldinho.

I always was a big Cassano fan...however he is not the one for us. Allegris formations need a very dynamic trequartista to work (lazzari, boateng).

Cassano can not be a CF for us.
Cassano can not even be th second striker because he is no where near as hard working as Robinho. Cassano is a very very lazy player (failing with Capello and Lippi) but so was Ibra.
Cassano could not also be our trequartista as we need someone that can defend and burst with speed for counters.

Honestly Cassano is a really bad move, unless it's a 6 month loan and it's not an investment for the future. Plus Cassano IS cup tied I am 100% sure.

I am sorry to be a partypooper, but as much as I want R80 out, I don't want Cassano to be our future. He is not the one we need.

Yes I certainly agree with much of what is said here. Like I said, if we were to get him, I'd want him out at end of season. Just as a bandaid replacement for Ronaldinho. However, I really think these rumors are not true. Again he's a Second Striker, and we have a few of those.

Can anyone help with a link to see what this guy can do? Is he better than Neymar (not much talk about him here these days!)?

Ganso is the next big player from Brazil. At this moment, I think Neymar is more talented and skillful, but Ganso has better upside due to his build.

Just another over ratted player from the Brazilian league, very similar to Diego, Denilson, Kleberson, Djemba-Djemba & Lucas. Fans should understand that not every Brazilian will be Rivaldo, Ronaldo or Kaka. If any Brazilian should be a CAM for ACM, it is Kaka. Bring back the price home.

Here's a link of highlights. He's a Brazilian (Lefty) Trequartista (ACM) who plays for Santos... great vision, works pretty hard around the field, also excellent FK taker. Young (21 years old), but has a long contract with Santos, so to buy him will probably be €12-15 Million at minimum. He's already played for Brazil, and it's hard to say if he will be Diego, Kaka, Elano, Rivaldo or what. He's a trequartista, not a forward. He plays behind the strikers, and passes more and dribbles less than Kaka. He seems from what I've seen very promising. He cannot be compared to Neymar as Neymar is more like Pato. In short, he's one of the most promising #10's of the next decade, and highly rated by Brasileiro, our Milanmania member who acts as a scout of Brazilian players

In terms of G. Rossi, I love him. I'm an Italian-American from New York, but besides that connection I also think he's a great player. He's doing so well in Villareal, I wouldn't want him to leave to sit on the bench in Serie A. I hope he's the future of Nazionale with Cassano and Balotelli (Lethal attack).

However, he is also a SS. Robinho is a Second Striker. When Pato plays, Ibra becomes the second striker. Our priority is a Penalty Box Striker (big), a trequartista, a CM to replace (Seedorf, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Pirlo), and at least one Full Back (LB). So therefore, G. Rossi is way down the list on priorities.

i wish people would stop saying AMF Brazilians are trequartistas if Ganso is in a similar position to Kaka' he is a AMF not a trequartista, to me a trequartista is something only Italians can be like Totti, Baggio or Del Piero, they are not midfield they're not a SS they sit right inbetween the lines.

ACM aka Trequartista. a player who sits behind forwards, usually indicative of being creative (good passer, dribbler).

*** Kaka is not a trequartista as his characteristics are more of a SS, he shoots and dribbles more, runs at defenders, he does not setup play, or help out in the midfield as much.

Do we belive our OWN HYPE...but I find it odd that everyone agrees Coentrao Luiz Ganso...I know we have alot of members but about 20 post regularly .... they are our problem situations but to agree on the same player ???? Surprisingly Excellent article by Carlo Garganese regarding Champions League's spots. Italy has destroyed Germany both short term and long term in Champions League. However, because of Italy's weakness in Europe/UEFA Cup, they're losing their 4th Champions League spot. What does Champions League have to do with Europe League? I think the spots given to each competiton should be different. For instance, Germany can receive more Europe League spots as they have a stronger mid-table while Italy should have more Champions League spots as they clearly have a stronger Top of the Table.
