My impression...As a unit Man City are a mess defensively, thanks to Canadian TV's love for the EPL I get to see them often. Kompany himself has been good but nowhere near the quality of the defender he was touted earlier in his career (and we talked about here on MM years ago)

One of my sources (a very good source at that) told me that Galliani is very quietly working to bring to Milan Torres in order to replace Inzaghi who's likely out for the season...

^^ I'd definitely smoke what he's been smoking.

Seriously, even after we signed Cassano (one of my fav players) I was very disappointed because we are pushing it with all these strikers that will never fit in... and now Torres? please.....

Coentrao, Fabregas are players that we should be splashing our cash on.. Ganso and Jucilei would also be nice, but even I am now confused with our non-eu status... I was 100% convinced we hadn't used it.....

AC Milan is getting closer to Constant
The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Damiani, the player's agent, now a deal with Chievo looks very likely. Constant should arrive on co-ownership deal - by SportMediaset.it

Torres seems very unlikely, i can see us signing someone like Matri or Floro Flores to replace injured inzaghi, Falcao from Porto would be nice replacement for inzaghi. but it seems unlikely too...

it seems his ex club s the only problem regarding Constant. Milan wants him in co-ownership with Chievo, 1.5 m euros is a bargain for a player like him...

i like players like him, as he can be better player under Allegri and our coaches, educate and mature his football more...

Fine mock me... I can tell you that the same source told me about Ibra 2-3 weeks before the news even talked about the possibility of Zlatan going to Milan... First of all Cassano is not a striker (he is the ideal replacement for Binho); second of all, according to FIFA regulations, Cassano is not elegible to play in the Champions League. That would leave us short-handed with the lone Binho, Pato Ibra on the attacking front.

Call it coincidence...but I was watching Chievo-Juve last week, and Constant was fairly good and he caught my eye,and I thought to myself if MIlan were ever to take him that would mean he is really good. So he has to be good

This was before Milan showed interest

torres, cassano, pato, ibra, robinho .. how can we find space for all these players?
and possibly constant too..
and kastriot when we played chievo i actually noticed constant he was strong on the ball and showed some nice skill on it good movement and all..he looks like a talented player i would definitely not mind him coming in.. rather then torres who we dontneed

Hitmannq was just kidding Nando but he got a point IMO. With Dinho is more likely to go, you're right about we only have 3 strikers left. But they're all world class and not mediocre ones and that's enough for now. Adding another top shelf one is downright unnecessary especially since we only play at most SEVEN games in UCL. Cassano's arrival and Pato's returning from injury are enough to give Allegri headache as to who's gonna start. Not to mention that Torres, a WC winner and at prime age, will cost a fortune. So why not use it to strengthen other weaker parts of team like some attacking mid or full backs?

sky is also reporting that we have signed Kevin Constant on a co-ownership deal...

he's a player I really liked this season. He's got great technique, he is strong on the ball, he's not crazy fast but he's faster than Seedorf/Pirlo/Gattuso and Ambrosini. Good buy, but this means that we will be giving up on Ambrosini and/or Jucilei. I also am worried we have given up on Lazzari because of Constant. Personally I prefer Lazzari much more, but Constant is not that far behind and he is 4 years younger than Lazzari.

Word is Pato is out the door next season, due to character issues+injury prowess. Allegri is getting tired of this... In fact, in his last few appearences Pato was always benched. Ibrahimovic we all agree is an iron man, but even he will need rest. Plus everybody seems to forget the Coppa Italia. Berlusconi is tired of staying behind Inter 5 years running. Anybody find strange that for the past 5 years societary policy with regards to buying was one of austerity and now all of a sudden he goes out and buys Ibra and Binho? Fact is he and Allegri see eye to eye, while this did not happen with Leo and the last Ancelotti. Also, he recently brought in his daughter, Barbara Berlusconi, in order to revamp the environment.
Plus, who said we are not working on a midfielder (see Kevin Constant and maybe Poli of Sampdoria) or a fullback (Coentrao for example)

I'm not saying Nando is a liar.. I havn't heard from this poster before, although I've been here only 6 months...randomly he posts that we're getting Fernando Torres??

Fernando Torres is between 60-75 Million Euros...Personally I don't like him because he's injured more than he's healthy (similar to Pato).. and that's very annoying. However, he's be probably the perfect guy to play off of Ibrahimovic, as Ibra can play second striker, and Fernando would give Ibra a lot of space. However, it won't happen...I mean, what are we trying to play:
a 3-2-5?

We need a Fullback, another CB, and work on the midfield, particularly an ACM. We can have all of the great forwards of the world, but if we don't have a link from midfield to attack, it does not matter. We need our own (Sneijder, Ozil, Xavi, etc).

I don't know much about Constant as I have not seen him play. I'm not sure who he's intended to replace. Jucilei would have been good..but I'm sure we won't get him now. No news about Honda it seems...

Any news on Coentrao recently?

Galliani and Allegri see eye to eye? So you're telling me Leonardo wouldn't have wanted Robinho, Ibrahimovic, Boateng, and Cassano???

Berlusconi loves Ronaldinho and Allegri obviously does NOT.. so how is that seeing eye to eye?
