sorry to disappoint you all but there seems to be some solid rumors floating around that we will sign Toni... they say an agreement was found from Galliani-Preziosi's meeting in Brazil today....

I was already disappointed with Cassano's appointment because Pato will be leaving... if Toni comes in that will mean Pato out for sure... and will officially be the end of Fillipo Inzaghi

Oh man. Come on. No convincing reasons why should Pato go if Cassano comes. I thought it has been discussed before?

I am sure that Toni will be gone in May, that is, if we ever get him.

I got this from another Milan forum that Ronaldinho has left Dubai. It is almost certain that he will be gone in no time.

I was expecting (and even hoping) to see this, but still can't help feeling saddened.

Toni is a move that should have happened five years ago. Now it is pointless. We don't even need him by any stretch of the imagination.

Cassano at least has some potential upside. I am not a lover of the transfer but ok, fine. Toni is done!

I read the Toni deal is very unlikely with Preziosi unwilling to sell. I heard the meeting in Brazil was more about Boateng.

I don't think Cassano means Pato will leave, and Toni for me wouldn't make a difference (if he's signed it might be to add another striking option to our squad).

I'm not sure, but I also read Allegri is a little concerned with the midfield right now. I think he meant mainly with regards to injuries, but it could have meant signing a new player (we're apparently still pushing for Lazzari according to milannews and Constant seems close).

Welcome new members... nice to see the forum a little busier than usual. Last month or two it's been very quiet.

In regards to the news,

* I agree with XUDONG, Ronaldinho needs to leave, and it would be nice to get some €€€ for him in the process. However, it also in a way saddens me that he never rediscovered his Barcelona form and is official done. He was a great player, perhaps all-time great, although it was just for a few years.

* I don't believe these Luca Toni rumors, he's a guy I wish we had bought in 2004-2005, but not now. He's finished more than Ronaldinho.

* Hitman: why do you keep saying Pato is gone because of Cassano??? In fact, why is EVERYONE saying Pato will be gone. All of this negative energy and talking about it will bring on the inevitable. He will leave at some point, most likely he won't stay like Maldini, but hopefully he can stay 5 more years, and win a Champions League with us. If we lose him because of a guy like Cassano, or Toni, that would be a JOKE, and I don't think Galliani would allow that.

* Lastly, I don't know much about Lamela, but we need a hard working ACM who moves off the ball, can create, help out midfield, and shoot from outside the box. Ganso seems like a guy I'd want, but it looks as if that won't happen. Also, Jucilei doesn't seem like a go. If we can get one or two of those guys, I'd accept Criscito instead of Coentrao.

Bottom line is there are a lot of unanswered questions regarding what direction our club will go in ..in 2011 and beyond. We have many players to replace within 2-3 years ( Inzaghi, Nesta, Yepes, Onyewu, Jankulovski, Oddo, Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Ronaldinho, Seedorf) (11 Players), and that's assuming Cassano works out.

What about Acquafresca? Matri? Verdi? to replace Inzaghi... and keep Pato, Ibra, Robinho, and Cassano. Use Cassano as ACM or sell him in MAY!!!!!!

I've mentioned this before, but Manchester City has Jerome Boateng, Wayne Bridge, and Aleksander Kolarov. Surely, they can't keep 3 Solid (if not WC) Left Full Backs. They have to sell 1 or 2.

Should we make a move?

I'd prefer to blood De Vito and see how he goes.

Not too pushed on Contreao either. He's weak defensively.
