Great posts guys, but pls stop thinking about Pastore as Palermo will never sell any of their players to Milan. They might sell them to Inter as a discount price just to piss Milan off.

Leonardo strongly interested in Ganso and Neymar, especially They want Ganso, it said that they would let Neymar to go to Real Madrid for them giving up on Ganso.

Ganso >inter
Lamela >Milan

bottom line is that i really think signing robinho and cassano was utter bull ****.....if galli and co is thinking that we have enough firepower with ibra+cassano+robinho and thinks about selling pato---HE IS WRONG 100%, We should have gone with someone like giuseppe rossi or neymar in place of r80 and even could have sold robinho to buy two midfieldes and two defenders like poli, lazzari, d.luiz etc...right now apart from ibra, pato, silva, nesta we are a pretty ordinary team who can realy falter in the season final run-in........to me the team should have looked like below after this winter mercato----

winter mercato
sell--------r80, oddo, papasthapaolos, janku
buy------g.rossi/neymar, d.luiz, a.poli, santon/criscito
promote-----merkel, strasser, montelungo

summer mercato
sell--------robinho, seedorf, roma, bonera, onyewu
buy-------ganso/lamella/pastore, agazzi/seculin, astori
promote-------berretta
I can't disagree with these statements. Part of me likes Robinho and Cassano but part of me says why do we have 3 Second Strikers? Why not just 2 and a true ACM like Ganso. I really don't think we'll buy Ganso as we've already made a bid for Lamela, and Ganso has Inter on his tail.

We need FB's but I'd choose Coentrao over Criscito although Criscito is better than Antonini for sure. Santon is NOT happening unfortunately.

Striker
Pato
R. Santa Cruz/Matri/Beretta
Inzaghi

Second Striker

Ibrahimovic
Cassano/Robinho

Attacking Central Mid/Trequartista
Ganso/Lamela
Lazzari/Merkel

Midfield
Pirlo
Ambrosini
Flamini
Boateng
Gattuso
Strasser

Defenders
Nesta
T. Silva
D. Silva/Astori
Coentrao/Criscito
Abate
Zambrotta
Oddo
Yepes
Bonera ** (I'd sell him)

Goalkeepers
Abbiati
Amelia
Roma

Squad: 25 Players

Arshavin is a skillfull Winger/ACM/SS, same as Binho & Cassano

So I think only if his contract is expiring in sumer or he has problem with Arsenal, we can get him like Ibra, Binho & Cassano's case.

And he is non EU.

Just read this news article:
http://www.footballpress.net/?action=read&idsel=76371

Am I the only one who thinks Dzeko is one of the biggest phonies in soccer today? This guy wanted to leave Wolfsburg so he would confess his love to anyone who would consider paying to get him out of there. And then, he would always choose the one who offers him more money and say he would've done anything to sign for his "Dream Team" even if it meant lowering his wages. This man would call my high school soccer team his dream team if it meant we could pay him.

I must admit Galliani is really clever and a true Milan fan, so he knows what Dzeko thinks. Now we have Ibra, Binho & Cassano with 1/2 his price and will win us everything despite none are "fan".

Real fan is someone like Balotelli.

What you said about Galliani makes sense. If Dzeko is a true Milan fans, he would be here to play with us. You gave good example with Balotelli. He always be our target thanks to his loyal saying or action towards Milan.

nah, i think he loves milan, however he realized tat milan could not afford him, however his love for italian football led him to want to play for juve, as he knew ROMA SAMP, LAZIO and other good italian teams could not afford him. however he was never linked to INTER, because as a milan fan, he hates inter.

When the only team that could afford him was ManC, he still went back to Juve to see if they would match, and they coudlnt afford.

NOW as a professional if manC or any club for that matter buys you, you cannot say, i do not want to play here. plus in order for him to grow as a player and win important title, he had to leave wolfsburg.

so i wouldnt call him phony. he just had to settle. and i prefer him at manC with another stiker, the more likely they will be to give up Balo. his agent even said Dzeko's agent: "He was ready to reduce his salary to join Juve"

I think that he only likes Milan or he only likes Shevchenko. If he loves Milan, he wouldn't extend his contract and made super difficult for Milan to sign him due to his increased price after prolonging his contract with Wolfsburg. But anyway I almost forget this player if some people didn't post something about Dzeko. Yeah, our wonderful attack is the big factor to forget him so easily.

True, but also take into consideration, he does not make all the decisions, he is advised by his agent plus the increase in wages he got from extending. i do think it was a bad idea for him, but its w/e, it doesnt matter we have Zlatan

agree om, his comments after signing for mcity:

"Manchester City are playing for first place in the Premier League and that is what I want," he said. "Everybody speaks about City having lots of money but it is not about that. It is about ambition. I have spoken to the manager [Roberto] Mancini and he told me: 'This is the best club for you.' They have been playing well this season. I have watched them a lot on television. Now the speculation is over and I just want to do my best."

Mancini had initially tried to sign Dzeko last summer but City could not agree a fee for the Bosnia international, with Wolfsburg wanting in the region of £45m.

Dzeko added: "It has been a long time that I have been linked with the club going back to last summer but Wolfsburg did not want to sell me until today. There was too much speculation in the papers but my head was always clear.

"It is important that is the case because, if you think too much about what might be, it is a distraction and it can affect your game. I was always attracted most to joining City ... I want to show the fans why the club paid the money for me. Everyone expects goals and I want to score them but most of all I want to contribute to a successful team."
