Like I expected King Clarence starts. Let's see if he also has a good game as I predicted...

Id prefer anyone to Seedorf honestly , appreciate the years og great service but his legs cant do what his mind wants. He is slow and his decision making is even slower...That said I'd gladly eat some humble pie.

Seeing that sliding tackle from behind by Abate, wow. Honestly, he's becoming a really good defender.

And why does anyone think that Pato is a second-striker? He's clearly a pure striker, the second coming of Ronaldo.

I mean, how could anyone disagree with you?

I've been saying that for a long time. totally agree

0-0 HT

EXTREMELY poor first half. My god, what was that?
I hope:
Flamini out, seedorf back in midfield, and cassano behind pato and ibra.

the first half was very bad. terrible.

but what can you expect when our play is created by our midfield and fullbacks.

abate-gattuso-ambrosini-flamini-antonini

not a single creator among them.
old rusty seedorf is trying to help them but its like an
idiot leading the blind. or a bling leading the idiots. whatever.

we need creativity there.

thats the key for the ssecond half

our dominance was painfully obvious, but I failed to remember even one 100% goal chance. on the other hand, someone please enlighten me why Lecce's best chance was called off. I failed to see any illegality.

I am still optimistic as this Lecce team is so damn weak, but if we can't create and convert, we would grow impatient by minute and before you know it, we could be in trouble.

Cassano needs to come up and have at least 30 minutes. maybe in 30 minutes he would have 2 assists. I reckon he needs approximately 10 to 15 minutes to make one assist.

A slow and dull first half but not too different to what was expected. We need more urgency going forward as we're very slow on the ball, and we need more width as Lecce are defending very narrow and squeezing space out.

Seedorf's awful so far and I wouldn't be surprised to see him replaced soon. Flamini and Pato are also frequently giving the ball away, a problem throughout our team.

rofl let's take it easy on Pato guys..when you compare him to someone like Ronaldo you're clearly just setting yourself up for disappointment. He didn't have a good first half though by his own standards..he tends to play better the closer he is to goal. The further away from goal he gets the ball..the more likely something bad is going to happen.

I thought Clarence would prove me wrong this game but that was all wishful thinking. The only good thing I can remember is a cross for a Pato header. Besides that, plenty lost balls and loss of possession.

On the good side though, I saw some good defending from Nesta, Silva and Abate. If they keep playing this way, we at least won't concede. Our offense is lacking a bit of chemistry but I bet we'll improve in the second half.
