Like Shegs, I also managed to miss the match :P

A draw isn't the end of the world, but given recent performances, we have to react in the right manner, but we haven't.

Currently, we are running on plain dumb luck and dropped points from our closest rivals. This is not good enough. Merda are closing in with their two extra games (Cessena and Fiorentina respectively) and dispite how I don't expect them to win all their matches, I didn't expect us to lose two points tonight either. We need to stop conceeding set plays to our opponents. Set plays have always been our team's Achilles heel, I'm surprised no one has ever addressed it properly....

Anyway, by dumb luck or whatever, I take a look at Mourinho's Madrid drawing and can only say: "Good thing we're the team to chase, instead of the team thats doing the chasing." It would have been even more frustrating if we had to make up for lost points to play catch up...

Like I said before, and I will say it again, we were not fantastic this season, its the other teams dropping points that really put us in the position we are in.

Lecce Sucks. They sucked just as bad as last time we played them. Some of their players don't belong in Serie C3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having said that, I'm very disappointed with the performance. I've never seen Ibrahimovic so MAD as he was with Seedorf the whole night. He must have cursed him like 10 times.

If this isn't an indication we need an ACM and LB, then Idk what is. Allegri keeps saying we need a midfielder, I hope he means ACM. Seedorf, as we've all said for months and even years, is finished. He really shouldn't even play another minute, he's that bad. I'd rather 18 year old Merkel.

In a 4-3-1-2 system, the "1" is very important. He must work hard, and make passes, Seedorf cannot. and he seriously F**ked up Pato and Ibra tonight.

Galliani make some moves fast, because losing to Lecce is UNACCEPTABLE. This team is terrible.

On the bright side, we have a RB and his name is Abate

Unacceptable. As predicted Seedorf is the downfall. Why Allegri did not start three of Robinho, Cassano, Ibra and Pato is beyond me, as the opponent is Lecce not Barcelona.

Robinho is sick, and Cassano will be useless after 50 minutes. It was just bad timing for our Attacking Mid role this round..

Useless after 50 mins is still better than useless for all 90 mins.

Allegri just published a coaching manual today:

"HOW TO REOPEN A CLOSED CHAMPIONSHIP IN THREE STEPS"

1.Always play Seedorf, no matter what.
2.Play Bonera as a center back.
3.Reward both Bonera and Seedorf for a "great" game with another game. And play Seedorf 90`,NO MATTER WHAT!!!(and I can`t stress this enough).

I had to put this point in another post cuz i feel is to important.

If Allegri by now is not aware how much seedorf has lost it,and still belives he can produce. This game should make him reconsider...not because he played horrible, which he absolutely did,but because other players around don`t feel comfortable around him.

It was obvious how everybody had a tendency to avoid him, especially Ibra,Pato and Cassano later...they opted for anything else just not to involve him. And for a trequartista that is absolutely terrible. In this game Seedorf made Abate look like a Dani Alves in term of involvement in the build up play.

If still you can`t catch my point, just look at the difference when Cassano was introduced(as a forward, with seedorf playing still a trequartista), how much more Cassano was involved in the buid up play, and not necessarily because he asked for it.simple because other players belive he can produce the goods, unlike Seedorf.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can only say Sedoorf is lucky it was an away game, i`m scared to think how would the fans react to this performance in SS.

we are missing both Boateng and Pirlo so much. we started to lose many points, 3 vs Roma, 2 points vs both Udinese and Lecce. inter is coming. Lets be more careful.

What about ABATE, isn`t starting to look really comfortable in the RB position. i`m really glad for him, he totally deserves it.

Milan had an awful game .... except for Abate and Gattuso and Ibra's goal. Milan were pretty much an ordinary side to watch . As people say its Allgri's formation that gets Gattuso into those attacking positions... but i dont understand y dint he play Strasser in that position who is better of in that position and can pass the ball or shot in a better way .. which could have also posed a threat aganist Lecce . Atleast he should have substituted Gattuso. And seedorf should have been substitute .... atleat Merkel would have inject some kind of impact rather than watching seedorf static. Neways we need a left back as soon as possible. So lets hope we get one.

I always liked Abate. Even when he was playing worse than Antonini, I said - there are no great 22 y.o. defenders, so give him a break.

But after playing Real and Inter this guy improved by leaps and bounds. All hail Ignazio!

Abate should maintain his form and like he has has been doing since Leo, he should improve his quality. After enhancing his defensive ability, he should focus to offer a better offensive jobs like more accurate and more crossing, improved tactical knowledge, etc. If Oddo can do those things in his first Serie A game (two assists) and friendly game vs Arab club (good offensive runs from tactical point of view), I don't think Abate can't achieve the same. He however still has to maintain his good form through this season.
