I was just laughing to myself about that earlier. These days pretty much no one wants him, but back then I remember quite a few people would have loved to have him.

Seriously, I think he will be liked more than anyone of us imagines, as soon as he puts the screws to some punk Inter player who tries something in the derby (hello Pandev). And then he'll be gone back to Holland probably. Well, let's hope.

whats with all the negativity, its a good signing imo, free, 6 months so we dont have to worry about paying old bags sitting on the bench and he has some to offer, he'll be good as a sub with all our injuries to try winning coppa italia and scudetto both.

Well, welcome Bommel! Seeing how our injuries, I am forced to like him.

Knowing the position of him a DM, should not influence greatly the chance of playing for Merkel.

I think, he comes here because our midfield especially DM is really unbelievable. The management and coach don't want to let Silva play so often as DM and beside that we need a player who is already accustomed play as DM. We really don't have DM now except Amborosini. Even Strasser is injured. Bommel transfer is for 6 months is acceptable.

I don't understand why you wouldn't like it... He could potentially be a world class player, only last year he captained his side to a world cup final, and his side to a champs league final and domestic double.... he's not finished yet.

I am only disappointed that he's cup-tied, he would have added the necessary experience and will to go all the way in the CL.
