Galliani says it's not Criscito and the FB plays abroad. That tells me it will be Criscito in June and the FB we get now will be a temporary player like MVB to get us through the season. That's my guess.

You missed the information about our young players especially Italian ones. Not the players you mentioned are under radar from Allegri now or lately but Calvano and Fossati. Calvano was already on the bench vs Cesena and Sampdoria.

Verdi is still our star of Primavera but there is no place for him right now since we don't play 4-3-3.

If there are limited quality players outside there, we still can hope for our youth even not for sooner solution. With Allegri and focus from management on youth, I don't think we should worry about our missing of Italian identity. If that happens, it should be only for a couple of years, a transition time before our youth Italian show their quality.

In our much younger team (96 of birth year), the team where Christian Maldini plays, Christian Galliani got caught by press. He is said to be (very) talented (he had awards and has been in Italian junior team for his ages). A right fullback is his position according to the news.

also news just in is that Galliani is in a meeting with Espanyol club bosses about the LB (truth). he is then going to Barca's HQ to discuss a transfer for Messi, we will pay €4 over 5 years + a €5 sell on clause

It’s widely reported that Espanyol’s Didac Vilà is the full-back Milan are targeting for the January transfer window.

Vice-President Adriano Galliani today denied negotiations for Genoa defender Domenico Criscito.

“The full-back we have chosen plays abroad and can participate in the Champions League.”

It’s believed the target is Espanyol left-back Vilà, who is worth approximately €1m.

Reports suggest Galliani is heading to Barcelona for talks with Espanyol and the 22-year-old talent.

He has played for Spain at Under-19 and Under-20 levels, so would act as a prospect for the future as well as a short-term replacement for the injured Gianluca Zambrotta.

Milan have been very active in the January window, bringing in Antonio Cassano, Urby Emanuelson and Mark Van Bommel.

Didac? I don't know why and I dont understand.... All of the LBs we linked with seem better, I think Nini and Jankulovski may even be better. Are we just getting him because he's young and Spanish and cheap? Is his agent also Mino Raiola (I've seen conflicting reports on this)?
