well i'd hate to say yes and be wrong but from the same source as earlier that said we had Vila, has been asking brazilians if he is good and better than Ganso etc and one Sao Paolo fan said "I was counting on Lucas to help us this year. anyway, i think good buy for Milan." and another fan said "He's a very talented ofensive midfielder, he's got great speed, technique and ball control. He was very decisive for São Paulo". but this is not official announcement just fan talk, although it looks promising

i know you can't judge a player on youtube but this kid looks very promising

Update: Not official but Milan have reportedly found an agreement with Sao Paulo over Lucas. The player is expected to join in June for around 4 million euro.

Could he be our Kaka.V2?

Indeed very good. His ability to go past players is great, but his passing and shooting still needs some work. Great acceleration.

From those videos, he seems more an offensive midfielder than a playmaker or trequarista (spelling?). But those are only clips. We wait for opinion from our official Brazilian scout.

Btw he looks short? Honestly, I am not that interested to see Milan get short player (non-European) especially whose strength is in dribbling. Just like Diego, Pablo Aimar, Andreas de Allesandro, etc. It seems that those players lack something crucial (I don't know how to call it, strength/physical thing to protect and control the ball either in accelerated movement or normal movement). Ok, there is Messi but not all are Messi.

I enjoy hearing the rumors on Lucas and Ganso as much as the next guy but does anyone else feel that those two rumors are contradictory to one another? Both of these players essentially play the same position and yet they are only two years apart. If we signed Lucas, why exactly would we still sign Ganso? Its not like Lucas can wait until Ganso is retired to take over the CAM spot. I would, of course, very much enjoy watching them both in Milan uniform. Its just I don't really think its a realistic scenario.
