I think, if we get Lucas (Marcelinho) we don't need Neymar. I consider him as the Sao Paulo version of Neymar, great dribbler, tricky, just very brazilian but without the selfnishess of Neymar and his posing.

Would be a great deal.

Neymar is more of a striker and goalscorer while Lucas is an attacking midfielder. From what I've seen so far they're not the same kind of player. One can't deny the immense talent of Neymar either.

well may not position wise, but their style is pretty much the same. Neymar is a huge talent, does crazy things, but if the brain isn't working that well, than there is no doubt who I would prefer.

I think he is expected to return in March.

i mentioned this player a few pages before after seeing him in the Under 20 game for brasil. Brasiliero will have more info for sure, But i liked what i saw.

I am curious about Lucas transfer to Milan.

damn this kid looks even better than Ganso from the vids I've seen

and he is 18 years old and 4m euro while Ganso I believe is 22 and probably at least 20m euro... going to ask about him in Brasiliero's thread

Wow man, Galliani non si ferma piu. Looking at the Galliani from few years who did want to spend a dime on a player or didnt even want to get new players in (Remeber they saying "we have a lot of champions" who only gets player 30+) and looking at Galliani now in days my God, you go Galliani.

off topic, i wouldnt worry about inter signing pazzini.. to me he is another gila or boriello, there good when they play for these small clubs because everyone just dedicates their playing around them and they still lose their fair share of games (small clubs) and they dont realize if they worked more as a unit and gave other players the opportunities they would probably be better off. pazzini may be a different story but iuno hes nothing special i wouldntbe thrilled with him if he came to milan .. on this marcelinho guy i watched a video of him his skill is phenomenal.. if we sign him,ganso,david luiz,astori back,marchetti (apparently is done for june) that would be insanity.

From the very, VERY little I've seen of Lucas, isn't he more of a wide forward/midfielder? I can't imagine him as a pure trequartista like Ganso and struggle to see what his exact role is. He looks a little like Neymar in that he's a wide forward looking to cut in frequently, but at the same time his scoring ratio wouldn't suggest that at all. If his workrate is high and he's prepared to defend, then I can maybe understand him being used in a similar way to Emanuelson, as a wide midfielder?

This is purely speculatory on my part, but from what I have seen, I'm struggling to understand how he'll fit in our set up.

Ganso was out injured for 6 months also back in 2007. Not sure what kind of injury that was.

Not sure what he means about major operation. Maybe just operation on an injury that is considered serious.

i agree, if he tracks back and figths on the pitch, has a great workrate, i'd accep him with open arms.
