If thats a serious question then no. I dont feel right, I feel I should prey for people who are sick, in poverty etc If we lose then its Gods will.

I have really thought about this too. And i truly believe it i don't know if it will this year but i'm 99.9% that from now till the next 3 years he will coach our team and bring some players with him.....

As a matter of fact, I support 2 teams as well... haha only that the other team of mine is not even playing in Premium League....

There is a problem in the team and something isn't working right. When something is broken, you try to fix it. Carlo on the other hand keeps being stubborn and leaves it broken to fix itself. Changes are needed to the side and not necessarily players as we can't buy anyone for another 6/7 weeks, but maybe tactics or players' position. Carlo though keeps going with what he has been going for a long long looooonnggg time.
It is not right to only blame him however as he obviously can't get on the field and play and run for the players. They have to do it on their own.

Today we rearly had any crosses, and no good balls that split the back-line of Empoli, therefore no chances for the forwards. Maldini was I think the best player on the field. Billy was OK while Jankulovski just didn't get forward enough or should I say "good enough" to be of any threat. Cafu did fine but again, nothing to strike fear down the right.
Pirlo was good in the first half and took care of the ball well, but he went down in the second half. Seedorf was ok in the beggining but poor for most of the rest of the game. Brocchi did nothing special while Kaka was invisible. To help the invisibility, Kaka even lost every single ball that touched his feet.
Oliveira seems like he is improving and was really unlucky while Gila was invinsible, although the service wasn't all that great, if there was any service anyway.

Going back to what I said before, we need some change. Tactics and players' positions. Carlo needs to try something different, as what's happening right now is clearly not good.

I saw the game. All in all, here are my thoughts:

1) Not a bad performance by any stretch of the imagination. I thought the whole team functioned well as a unit. Empoli barely had any chances. We were solid defensively, solid in midfield.

2) It is obvious that we are lacking a cutting edge in attack. This is why we lose games like these. How many goals have our strikers scored in serie a? ONE. A grand total of one and that too COMBINED. I think this is the problem. If we still had Sheva or better yet, got a proper replacement for him, we wouldnt be in this predicament.

3) Kaka had a great game. How much do you expect him to do? I thought he carried the team for large parts of the game. The question, though is that if we can only manage draws with him on the field, what are we going to do if he gets injured?

4) Seedorf wasnt so bad. Although, his work ethic has dropped. Our left side was far more penetrable than our right side. If he's not willing to put in the effort defensively, I too agree that he should be dropped. Imagine having a complete midfield player in that position. Someone like Gerrard, who can tackle, run, pass, cross, shoot. This is what we need, not an attacking midfielder converted to a left sided MF.

5) So all in all, it comes down to our transfer campaign this summer. If we had bought better, if we had actually spent money on quality signings, we ought to be able to get three points in games like these.

2 girlfriends nah im happy with one thank you ....

Not sure about Pirlo needing others to create though. If you meant he needs players around him to make runs then I agree. I completely agree with the rest. Our system was dependent on Cafu's overlapping runs. When he got injured, Serghinio did the same thing even better. Unfortunately, we cant rely on either at this time.

I totally agree about Seedorf, he is playing a completely absurd game constantly slowing things down, not sticking to the left. Gourcuff and Brocchi would provide Pirlo with some "legs" around him and the strikers would get more service. Oliveira's gradual improvement will help things a great deal.

The problem is Carlo has always trusted his core players, which Seedorf has always been. In the past he has always at least played according to the system even if his form does dip. But now he is just playing in a totally different way and Carlo needs to trust Gourcuff to show him how he used to play ie quick pass and move which Gourcuff does brilliantly.

Thanks. About Pirlo yes I certainly meant he needs other players to move and work for him to be able to do his job. Without the correct runs being made and trying to stretch the opponents, it's difficult for him to do much when his game is mostly about passing and creating play from deep areas.

Sorry RT9, I don't agree with you regarding Kaka and Seedorf. Kaka for me yesterday was not effective in his play. He tried to do his work, and linked well with Oliveira at times. However, it wasn't he wasn't trying imo, but more that like with Pirlo, he can't always be expected to perform miracles by himself and much of yesterday the only support he really had was from Oliveira most of the time.

As for Seedorf, I'm not going to talk about the guy's work ethic, I'm really not sure how hard he tries. What annoys me this year more than previous years is that his movement is terrible, positioning is even worse and worst of all, he is one of the key figures to move the ball from midfield to the attack, but everytime he gets the ball, which is pretty much on every play, he seems content on holding up the play for ages by which time most Italian teams stick pretty much everyone into their own half and press hard.

Seedorf can't be expected to do this all by himself, because again, like with Pirlo and Kaka he needs those around him to work for him. It's like the example with Jankulovski yesterday, where had Janku actually made the run forward after passing to Seedorf, the ball could have been played back to him in a decent crossing chance, and if not, at least one or maybe even 2 Empoli defenders would have been taken out of the picture and Seedorf would have more space.

Yesterday's match consistently brought me to the conclusion that individuals deserve some blame for not performing their duties, but almost also every single player deserves the same criticism, as they aren't doing what they need to for others.
