If your saying that neither Maldini & Bonera are as good going forward as the other 2 then it doesn't really matter that boca is forcing them back then. Maldini only needs one good chance whereas Bonera, you might need triple figures.

This game just shows how important Kaka is for us. If not for him, we would not create anything in the attack.

noT THE best half by Milan; Boca is very strong in keeping the ball and definitely have the chance to beat Milan.

Having said, Milan is not doing bad either; their defense is strong besides the goal; we also have a huge penalty not good; question is: Is Oddo and Janku going to come in in the second half?

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, can Oddo (or Bonera) cross?

Boca is playing good with superb technical players in the middle. Our man Benega is good also

Carlo is a slawe of Maldini who needs to play the final. Carlo knows Kaladze-Nesta are tuned up in the centre so he plays Maldini on the left. Since Paolko leaves some space as he actually cant play fullback anymore he put Bonera on the right to cover up so Maldini can go more forward...

We dont have two normal fullbacks who can play up and down...

Lets just win this however! Forza Milan!! Come on Pippo!!

P.S.

i remember some time ago when I was watching Milan or SKY and Capello was co-comentator... Bonera also played right back and after some lousy cross from him Capello said in sadness: Ah, Bonera e un difensore centrale... hahaha!

Our game is definately suffering because little/no fullback involvement.
Bonera is and never was Milan-standard. Bring on Oddo for Bonera and I would get Gorky ready, because Milan need to win this in normal time. We are not young enough to go 120 minutes and we can't take penalities at all.

Shame we conceded.

Forza Milan.

Maldini looking good out there.

No change is needed. MIlan need to keep the ball better instead of losing it;

Milan also needs to be patient because Boca is a technically very strong team;

Oddo in for Bonera at 65 minutes; Janku in at 70 minutes; and then Gilardino in if we are losing.

Maldini will not be subbed off guys, this is like his final wish from Milan. He wants to win this cup, and after all the years he gave us I am certain they will grant him his wish.

I think Pippo should stay on his movement is good. Bonera really shouldnt be used as a RB, especially not an attacking one. Their goal was because of his lack of his concentration and his crosses were poor today. Nesta underlined again how great he is and Gattuso underlined again how he can't pass the ball for more than 5 yards.

From the first half what I see is that we need two attacking full backs, one on the right and one on the left. A striker would also be nice for January and maybe an attacking midfielder. We'll see what January holds for us.
