Torres played very well today, and i think this guy has a great future. But if he will not play for Milan, we ll see his great future in scoring goals against Milan..which is sad. Thats why we should get the guy! He is very very promising!

That is true...although I dont really hate Abramovic. He ve stolen money, but he gives something back to Russia (still)...Roma is not like Berezovskiy..he is not greedy, he shares and therefore can be respected.

Wow, after yesterday's performance for Spain, I'm starting to lean more towards Fernando Torres. That last goal was unbelievable!! The guy's got genuine pace, size, skill.

Many of us were worryinhg if Milan buy a Spainiard as we got "problem" with the former Jose Mari who didn't shine with Milan. But then, let us think once again that Jose Mari didn't also shine in his home country club.
So, my conclusion is whether or not a Spaniard could shine in Serie A is fully depends on the talent of the player..not the country... Also if we're talking about players from Eastern Europe...Shevpound is a good example how he shine and became a star with Milan but not Kutuzov......Nedved is shining till today with Juve but not Milan Baros....
This is just to argue about the "worry" if Milan buy Torres....and there is another hurdle for getting Torres as MU also bid for Pounds25k....

Today is June 15th...the day that Uncle Berlusconi promised to be back as Milan's President...Will we get a "BIG SURPRISE" from him?????

Hopefully YES !! He brings Gallas, Torres and send Amoroso back to Brasil....

i do agree too and scared if spanish player cant played well in serial a.but i hope that is all in the past.

By the way if we get toress for 20m or below is ok. but is 30m is too expensive as he is not proven in europen stage....(even i know that he can play well in WC). do forget Gilardino is also cant cope in europe in his first season. that mean if we get torres along with gila, inzaghi n amoroso only inzaghi have the experience for next season n all the burden will be on him. at least this year there is still sheva n inzaghi as i think to play well or win the CL experience can be the different....(yayayaya u may say arsenal or porto) ..but that mu opinion...

Its amazing how many peoples opinions can be swayed by just 1 game

Let me ask you something, swap Sheva and Torres over, so now Sheva is leading the line for Spain, partnered by Villa and being supplied by Xavi, Alonso, Garcia etc for 90 minutes and Torres is a lone striker with occasional but inneffective support from Voronin. Do you still think Torres will be the more impressive?

The snap judgements are probably the thing that most annoys me about the world cup...

i do still think that torres doesnt played that good
he only got 1 second of good game against ukraine
and that is when he scored the goal.
but other than that
he played a really standard game against that kind of defending from ukraine
if he really that good, than he can do more out of that game

its clear Torres in not as good as Shevchenko, but not even Henry is. Sheva scored crucial goals in the most difficult moments. Torres needs to develop his dribbling and creative play more. But he is a good solution, not sheva but good. Certanly better to have him paired up with Gila than Drogba or Crespo. Still, my dream in Eto'o.

I agree with you. Everybody says how Torres was better than Sheva and whatnot. But I mean look at the difference in skills of the two midfields. Shev barely even got the ball.. that's a poor comparison.
