No one is better or even as good as $hevchenko today, that's obvious. But Torres is young, and can develop into a tremendous striker , so he's a FANTASTIC option for us. And I think he's a lot better than any other options listed here (including Et'o), with the single exception of Henry.

Sorry for going off topic, BTTT.
Many people steel money every day..and you cannot stop them all...not even 10%...You just cannot stop them doing that. And if someone steals, but then shares...(seems a lil bit like it was a loan)...and I m not trying to clean his image, I am just saying that I dont hate him..

Milan to adopt El Nino?
Spanish sensation Fernando Torres has been linked with a move to Milan as a replacement for Andriy Shevchenko. On the evidence of his showing against the Ukraine, Richard Godden believes El Nino would more than fill Sheva’s boots
One of the biggest shocks of the World Cup so far came in the form of Spain’s demolition of the Ukraine on Wednesday afternoon. In the space of 90 minutes, the Furia Roja scored more than half as many goals as the Eastern European’s conceded in their 12-match qualifying campaign. David Villa received many of the plaudits for his match-winning brace, but there was no doubt that the star of the show was Fernando Torres.

Billed as Spain’s best talent since Raul emerged on the Champions League scene more than a decade ago, the Atletico Madrid hitman has not enjoyed the best of starts to his career. Despite the struggles of their city rivals, Atletico remain in the shadow of the Galacticos and Torres has thus so far failed to hit the sort of tally that his talent demands. His Euro 2004 campaign was, much like the rest of the squad, forgettable – except for the peach of a mullet that he displayed.

However, after a promising 2005-06 campaign in which his highlight was a stunning match-winning goal against eventual champions Barcelona, Torres finally looks like he will fulfil his undoubted potential. During qualifying he finished as Spain’s top scorer with seven goals, and the highlight of their Group H opener was Torres’ sensational strike. Despite being 3-0 up at the time, ‘El Nino’ – The Child – showed the kind of grit and determination, coupled with a clinical finish, that should convince Milan that he is the man to replace Andriy Shevchenko.

“I know the rumours about my future are strong now,” he said. “I think it is because there is a World Cup coming up and that’s when people are always thinking about big transfers. I've lived through these rumours a thousand times in the last five years and they won't affect me. I am trying to focus on the World Cup which is my biggest priority right now.”

Despite this being his second major tournament, Torres is still just 22-years-old. A year after making the costly mistake of signing Christian Vieri – although only a free transfer signing, the ex-Inter man commanded a hefty salary – surely the Rossoneri directors will do the right thing this summer? If World Cup defences are worried about the prospect of a David Villa-Torres partnership, imagine what their Serie A counterparts will be thinking if Torres lines up alongside Alberto Gilardino next term…

Many people think that Torres is the new van Basten....the price Milan is going to pay him is absolutely depends on Uncle Berlu.....
I still think that it is even better to have him rather than rely only on Gila, Pippo and the Milan tourist...Amoroso...

Toni is getting closer to Inter everyday. Maybe we could lure Adriano instead.

I am not saying that he have done the right thing..but I know also that if not Roma would have stolen those money, they would have been stolen by someone else. Because that time everything in Russia was not organized and highly corrupted (we still have corruption, but not as much as we did). Those who were at more or less good political position, or known someone who was, stolen money from Russia and noone could stop it. So if for instance Roman, who stolen, but then he is constantly giving something back, is better than Berezovskiy, who is horribly greedy and would never share. (BTW, at this moment already Abramovic spends his money, not those that he have stolen. Because he ve put the stolen money into business (he is quite smart, you should admit it) and now he has the percantage..so basically he is spending his money now...plus helping Russia a lil bit)

Toni's price is 18mil euros. Torres is something like 25-30. But Atletico has some great relationships with Milan and im sure we can get a good deal out of this. Maybe even get Torres and Suazo. But there is a great danger that partnershipo Torres-Gila will not dominate like Sheva-gila/pippo. Actually, its almost certain. Toini is dominating forward, and I dont want to see Toni - Adriano in the same lineup.

not necessarily. Martins seems to be heading out, same goes for Recoba. So, Inter are left with one reliable striker apart from Adriano and Toni - Cruz. Chances are, they will try to sign not just Toni but another striker too - Tavano, maybe.
Stiil, I think it would be in Adriano's best interest to get his butt as quickly as possible out of there 'cause the way his career is headed, he might as well retire after the WC.

Adriano will be out of the door simply because you cant play them together (in my opinion)

People steal money or earn them not the right way...an it happens every day all around the world. You are pissed off with Abramovic because of Sheva - and that is stupid. Sheva made his choice, Abramovic just suggested.
