Havent seen him play, so I cant honestly comment except to say that lately Milan's purchases in the player market have been excellent, though some loan deals have taken a while to mature (read Hernan), at the end of the day, we have benefited from all our dealings.

Hence I have faith in our talent scouts, and if they say he is quality material, then he is.

I would be disappointed that Solari would be omitted were this deal to come thru, as he is afav player of mine, but at the end of the day, if that is what Milan wants, I will work with it.

I do not know. First everyone said that Jankulovski is between inter and juve, now all of a sudden we're the favourites!! I do not believe all transfer rumours especially in this period, when there is no football and journalists put everything in their newspapers so to sell it.

For me the Solari option is more realistic since his contract ends this june. In these last seasons Milan signed Tomasson in 2002 and Dhorasoo last year with a free transfer, so this year it might be Solari's term.

He wont come, its too good to be true.. Its just rumours.. They also said Carlos has 'AGREED' to join Milan in January in October.. Not everything you read is true .. dont get ya'all hopes up

its terrible that we wont go and try and get Robinho , and I hope we dont miss Maxi Lopez and get this January.

Does anyone know if Milan is or isnt going to the transfer market this Jan? Because they certainly didn't talk about it much

I think that will be a brilliant signing. didn't expect or look for it as i thought he'd been juve bound for 2 seasons now.

100% True.
I am realy like Mareks' syle but get real 10 million Euros for Rotation player its Just to much.Kakha have agreat future with us and we got to remember that jankulvsky isnt a natural defender but more midfelder or left winger.
i think solary is the more realistic option and a wiser one. He is great player plus he is free agent at the end of this season.
personaly i prefer we will release Pancaro at the end of this season because when he plays uor left side is much weaker than we play with Kaladze.
anyway either Junkulovsky or Solari will be a batter solution for us for next season.

from Milan's recent transfers, it seems like they will not be willingly to fork out a large sum of money for sum1(like aceventura had said) to be a rotation squad player...looking @ dhorasoo and tomasson, the fact tt they came on a free transer proves they will be here to warm the bench most of the time. However if milan is to splurge a handful sum of money on a player..he would either be a replacement for a fading star (kaka for rui) or an immediate 1st team player (nesta, stam) .

Therefore if Janku is really coming at a fee of 10 million, then he should (IMO) become a 1st team player, replacing pancaro and the injured kaladze.

I think signing Janku will be great, he's a proven player in italy, he won't take long to adapt to the culture of italy, as for scolari, he's not proven in italy yet, it may take some times or he may not even be able to adapt to italian soccer. Janku will be great! aggresive player! fast! great power when he shots! GET HIM! play him as a left wing!

Jankulovski is a great signing. With him, we'll have added width & penetration on the left, and a leftie good at setpieces. Noticed how out setpieces on the right-side of the penalty area were often wasted? Very often we attempted unsuccessful crosses into the box rather than having a direct shot at goal. Janku is a leftie who can have a crack directly on goal.

We are already very wasteful at setpieces, a leftie who is great at deadball situations is a must!

According to many reports, he'll join Milan in the summer for £6.5M.

Great job Fester! What a Christmas present

if there's a spot where we can hugely improve, that is the left back spot

i'd like to point out that, despite it's true that 10 millions EURO are a big amount of moneys, in facts they aren't because we would solve 2 roles in our team with a world class player ..

in facts the point is thais: the solari's signing wouldn't solve the problem of the left back role, because solari is just a winger IMO, jank is either a left back and a left winger instead and great in both roles (i paid particular attention to his performances at EURO 04 and he convinced me)

plus, we must always consider we have spent much less than many culbs as rich as us in the last years and we won a CL which brought us 50 MLN.

I believe balance is very important but if you want to compete at the highest levels sometimes you have to splash moneys to sign key players..it's not thinkable to win Champion's Leagues with all free agents.

I think Jankulovski himslef is aware of the real chance to get into such team (and IMO he will become regular immediately) and the today's words confirm it:

"i'm ready for every team, but Milan is a model from every point of view"

I agree that Janku is great but i big doubt whatever he is batter than kakha as left back.
as a winger or center midfelder he defently great but for this positions we alredy got great player and great reserves. when milan spends big time its usually on first team players and honestly i dont see an open spot for Janku right now.

Ace, if we sign Janku, he'll definitely be a starter, not a sub. Without doubt a great addition to the team.
