Even if Barca beat Chelsea on Tuesday i can not see them getting rid of Mourinho, he has done an great job at porto and now even better at Chelsea there 16 points clear in the league!
Anyway am a fan of Ancelotti i would like him to stay at Milan if we get sliverware this season, if not i can see him going out the door. Maybe for Van Basten but not Jose

I would prefer the 86 to 94/95 milan the super football, The dutchland way of football which means reijkard or marco would really do a great job if not maybe sticking with carlo is best at this moment.
PS: Barca will crush chelsea tomorow.

I dont like Mourhino...his teams play a very boring type of game, and I think he is arrogant in the extreme.

Initially, I would have said yes, but after his gamesmanship re Messi (after all, Messi is still a kid), and (I am 98% sure it was his decision)the whole issue of relaying the pitch, which suspiciously got relaid right after the UCL game vs Barca...I think that while he is a good coach, a good motivator and tactician...he isnt ready for a prestigious club such as AC Milan.

Plus, he talks waaaaaay too much. "Chelsea will win the EPL on April x"...what arrogance! I mean..really...that for me was the clincher.

I hope he never coaches Milan...or if he does, its when he is completely grey..and waaaaaay more mature than he is now.

Agree...

just like what I said about Cassano... I don't care how good he is... if he doesn't fix his personality, I'd rather not have him...

Couldn't agree more, Warro
Remeber the quote 'I am special'?
He may be a good coach, but what are the guarantees that he'll win in the Serie A? Porto won the Champions League that one year when all of the top teams crashed out, they had to beat just Man U, Lyon, Deportivo La Coruna, and Monaco. Doesn't sound like top competition to be crowned best team in Europe, does it?
With Chelsea he may have destroyed all competition in the Premiership, but that does not guarantee success in Italy.
And, as Warro said, his arrogance is unprecedented. Plus, he brings too much controversy and scandal to a side, and that may be ok for Chelsea but for a prestigious team like us it can't be allowed.

Mourinho in Milan......my answer - NO! He is dominating in England only because all the other teams stink. Arsenal spent all their money on a stadium so they have to rely on 20yr old players that clearly can not do better then 3rd place in England. On the other side Man Utd's arrogance has gotten them where they are. Liverpool dissapoints every year as usual as their CL win last year came out of nowhere. English teams are simply horrible and their succes in Europe proves it. only 2 teams in CL final since 1986(Man Utd. a few years ago and Liverpool last year). Their football is terrible as all they do is tackle, hit long balls and the ball is more in the air then on the ground, and run around like headless chickens. No tactics what so ever and it seems that all they do is clear the ball from one half to another. It did get better a few years ago but it has dropped again and even the "known defensive Seria A" is far more exciting then their bullSh!t. What I am trying to say is that ofcourse Chelsea will dominate this sad league with the money and tallent they have. But the day they prove themselves in Europe....Mourinho can be regarded as the best in Europe.
I can't stand this guy and what he did to the German reff. last year will never be forgotten. Poor Merk received death threads because of stupid and arrogant Mourinho. We don't want bastards like him in Milan. This club is about class.

It is quite ok for you to have this opinion Egoistka, but as you can see from the poll, most of us here dislike the Portugese coach, and for salient reasons, while admitting that he is a "good coach"...he, like so many other "good players"...just isnt good enough for Milan at the moment.

He needs to develop more "class"....before he would be ready for a club like Milan...plus, even if he did come, I am not sure if he could handle Berlu´s insistence on playing with 2 strikers....

Mourinho's touchline tantrums show Chelsea can't buy class

Tuesday March 7, 2006
The Guardian

The man who writes to me to claim that this newspaper is pursuing a vendetta against Chelsea had better turn the page now, because what follows might not be to his liking. Once again the club to which he gives his allegiance has proved that while money may provide the foundation for success, it cannot buy the sort of admiration and respect so freely given to Nicholson's Spurs, Busby's United, Paisley's Liverpool, Ferguson's Treble-winners and Wenger's Invincibles.

"No one likes us, we don't care": several times in the past couple of days the old Millwall refrain has been applied to the current champions. This is an error. The thin-skinned response of Chelsea's fans to the crescendo of criticism proves that they do care; in fact they care very much.

They are not used to being loathed. Peter Osgood's untimely death last week came as a reminder that the club occupies a special position in the English game, one based on the collective memory of generations of entertainers and artists, with allowances made for the occasional picturesque defender. It is a position which has been thoroughly undermined by the behaviour of those currently in charge.

Not even when Ken Bates was threatening to surround the Stamford Bridge pitch with an electrified fence did such a tide of general disapproval sweep over the club. And with their every pronouncement, the club's present management seem intent on deepening the well of hostility.

The best you can say is that their tactics are of a piece with those currently employed in British public life as a whole. When few are inclined to accept at face value the announcement that a married couple, one of whom is a cabinet minister, have split up under the pressure of an embryonic scandal, the destructive effects of news management can clearly be seen. Chelsea's constant attempts to spin the interpretation of events to suit their purposes has demolished their credibility.

Before their first match against Barcelona a fortnight ago, Chelsea circulated a document suggesting that their opponents were the beneficiaries of an undue amount of penalty awards. As an attempt to mould opinion and even influence the referee's attitude, this was a contemptible act. The subsequent pre-emptive announcement of Asier Del Horno's one-match ban, accompanied by the unwarranted inference that Uefa had been swayed by the club's testimony into minimising the sentence, was merely cheap. But the instant response to Saturday's unpleasant events at West Bromwich, which was to issue a statement placing the blame squarely on Bryan Robson, Albion's manager, revealed Chelsea's management for what they are.

The incidents that etched themselves on the memory were the sneer on Jose Mourinho's face as he dismissed Robson's objection to the delayed appearance of several Chelsea players at the end of half-time, and the uncontrolled fury he unleashed on the referee's assistant in the second half. You might think that a man on a salary of £5m a year, plus perhaps as much again in personal endorsements, would deem it proper to behave differently when questioning the decisions of an official receiving a match fee of £320 plus expenses. Or, if that man happened to be Jose Mourinho, you might not.

In private, Mourinho may be civilised and charming company; his players seem to adore him. In his technical area, however, he stands revealed as a creature not of the game but of his own ambition. No one doubts that he is a coach of unusual perceptiveness and exemplary application. But as he goaded Robson into a fury on Saturday, the contrast between the two did no favours to the Chelsea manager. Their relative degree of success as managers became irrelevant. You felt like asking whether Mourinho ever really loved the game, in the way Robson has always done, or if, as the exceptionally bright son of a professional footballer, he seized on it simply as a convenient vehicle for his own advancement, knowing that his intellectual energy would enable him to dominate less gifted rivals.

"No class" is now the general verdict on a man who, only a year ago, appeared to have imported a new level of sophistication to the Premiership. His refusal to shake hands with Robson at the end of the match constituted an explicit breach of a protocol based on a mutual understanding of sporting values. And you would have to say that, based on the evidence to date, it laid bare the essence of the man.
Milan is a club for gentlemen and ladies, and their families..a club of class...

Well, I didnt say that Mourinho is a nice person, I said that he is a great coach and tactician...
What about his behaviour..I may also not like it, but I know for sure if Mourinho would come to AC Milan he would do a great job and that year Milan would get all the possible and impossible Cups..At the end of a day thats what matters for me the most.

But that's not what matters to me, and most of us, the most.

I don't just want Milan to win. At any cost.

I want Milan to be a glorious champion. Recognized, respected, admired.

I do care about HOW Cups are won.

Again, I differ from you, in that I refuse to believe that "winning is the only thing"...winning with style is much more important than winning "all the possible and impossible Cups"..I mean, really, we are not a "Chelsea" who has gone 50 years without winning any silverware...we are Milan, 6 times winners of the UCL...only Madrid has won it more...and looking at the state of affairs in the Spanish Capital Club, I wouldnt swap Real for Milan for all the money and silverware in the world!

I may not like Berlu as a person, but I like him as a president. Much better than Peres...but that is straying from the point.

My point is that Mourinho needs several years, almost a decade in fact, before he would be mature enough to manage Milan, IMO.

Milan is about class??? Are you kidding me??? So Berlusconi and Galliani, thats what you call class? Sorry then...I ll have to dissapoint you. Do you know what people in Italy think about Berlusconi for example? They hate him because he is stupid.
.........."In mid-May 2005, while opening the European Food Safety Authority in Parma (after the location had previously been preferred over one in Finland and Berlusconi had accused Finns of "not knowing what prosciutto is"), Berlusconi claimed that he had to "blow away the dust from my playboy (in English) arts" with the Finnish president, Tarja Halonen, to convince her to locate the EFSA in Parma. This caused criticism from both Italy and Finland, with the Italian ambassador in Finland being called by the Finnish foreign minister. [17]. Berlusconi later 'retracted' the comment by saying that anyone who had seen a picture of Halonen must have been aware that he had been joking."..............
Or when Berlusconi said that a success of a negotiation with Royal Family (female) member was reached because he charmed her...Prince Charming Berlusconi definately is about class...AC Milan is all about Berlusconi, his power and money. Everyone knows that...
I cannot say anything bad about Ancelotti here..I think that Ancelotti have given everything he could to Milan already and its time for him to take a rest.

About Berlusconi as a President I said in previous reply...I dont think he is very smart person, but he is the the only possible candidate, all the rest are worse...so let him be a President, i am fine with that. I dont know anything about Peres, so cannot judge him, you probably know better.
About Mourinho - he is a very high class coach, great tactician already, i dont think he needs more time for development. Crespo spoke about him in the interview for Champions ligue Diary and he said that Jose is a great person, every player in Chelsea loves him and they have a lot of understanding...Thats also very important. Do you remember the story with Sheva and Carlo: "...AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko has pledged his future to the Italian club despite his recent spat with coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The Ukraine international exchanged angry words with Ancelotti at Milan's summer training camp on Monday.

But Shevchenko, who upset Ancelotti by taking it upon himself to go ahead with minor surgery on the cheekbone he fractured last season which subsequently ruled him out of Milan's tour of the United States, insists he is happy at the Serie A club.

"I had a discussion with Carlo Ancelotti about the decision to have my face operated on again," the 28-year-old told SkySports.

"I need to have metal pieces removed from my face and I have done nothing wrong.

"I discussed with Milan's surgeon if it was possible and we decided on surgery. There was obviously a lack of communication with the coach. I thought he had been told but he hadn't.

"Ancelotti was angry about it, and I understood it. I tried to explain everything to him and I think everything is clear now."

The heated exchange triggered speculation that big-spending English Premiership club Chelsea Shevchenko were ready to revive their interest in Shevchenko, but the reigning European Footballer of the Year says he is not interested in a move abroad.

"I don't want to go to Chelsea, I want to stay here. I love Milan and Milan loves me," he said...".
Its very bad when there is no understanding....
The only thing I can agre is that Mourinho will not fit well into Milan's style and policies...its possible. But it doesnt make him worse coach, does it?...
