Lightbulb MOURINHO instead of ANCELOTTI???

Official Milan website (russian version) and newspapers: "Sunday Mirrir" and "La Gazzetta" said that it is very possible that Mourinho will be one of the candidates to get Ancelotti's place. They say that Milan wants to get him and that Chelsea will most likely "point him at the door" in case of Chelsea loosing the game against Barcelona. One they lost already 1:2 at home...unluckly that they gonna win in Spain.
So if Chelsea will ask him to leave after this season...there is kinda the only way for Mourinho - to go to Milan. He is not going to coach any small team, he loves success.
Wouldnt it be wonderful though? I d love to see mourinho in Milan, he is a brilliant coach, very talented and smart.

Please show us the link. I dont see how Chelsea could sack Mourinho because of a poor season in the CL. They are the formidable force in the Premier League as well as the CL. Mourinho is by far the best coach Chelsea ever had, do you think they will let him go so easily? I personally thinks Mourinho can bring success to any team, let alone Milan. However, i would rather not think of changing the helm and continue to put faith in him.

Moreover, Ancelotti's season with Milan is definately not over yet as long as he can bring success to Milan and do not think we will go away this season trophy-less because if our form keeps up till the end of the season, our trophy cabinet will be updated.

is there an official Milan site, Russian version????

the official site has only Italian, English and Japanese... that's acmilan.it ... or .com

I doubt he will leave Chelsea soon... and if he did, I doubt he would be Carlo's replacement... I even doubt Carlo will leave after this season...

now, if it was true, I would mind... but I'd prefer one of Gli Invincibili (Van Basten, Tassotti, Donadoni, Baresi, etc.)

There you go, but i really think this is just another rumor by the english press to fill up the pages of their papers. If theres any thruth in it, i really hope it doesnt happen because he is a cheat, a arrogant c**t and the way hes teams play(eventhough they win) is really boring!!! I think we should keep ancelotti he has done a great job!

I can give you a link, but there is everything in Russian...its http://www.acmilan.ru/2005_2006/news/news212.html. They say there, that Ancelotti definately leaves Milan after this season. They say:"Despite of the last improvements and stabilized performance of Milan arrival of new coach to Milan is inevitable. Jose Mourinho as a coach being liked very much by Milan's management, thats why the first attempts of negotiation have been undertaken...."

Has done...but its time to change...Milan needs changes. Mourinho can be whatever, but he is a great coach and with him Milan will become unbeatable...The way Milan plays now cannot be called exciting, so Mourinho will not make it more boring than it is already, oppositely I think he ll make us see a lot of excitment and glory...I am standing for Mourinho!!!

The season is not over yet and we are second in serie a and still in champions league! In my mind that means that he is still doing a good job and i dont agree that milan are not playing more entertaining football than chelsea or exiting as you say. If playing long balls from midfield to attack and defending is entertaining football then we should try to bring mourinho to milan but at least i dont think its the way football should be played!!

Mourinho is one of the best coaches nowaday´s. he has changed many things in football that no one even thought about it. in FC Porto and Chelsea he made some internal rules to provide the best for the team and for the players. to speak about Mourinho you must first read the two books about him; the first when he won UEFA Cup and the other when he won CL. then you understand why he´s so arrogant andcontroversal. he was not a football player; he thinks the football in other perspective way. that´s why he´s so careful in putting the players on the field and many other things.
althought the next team he will coach will be an italian team (Juve , Inter or Milan) i don´t think he will leave England in the summer. he has a project and he´s commited to win everything with Chelsea. maybe in 2/3 years he will leave Chelsea, and then, i´m waiting to see him in Milan´s bench

see ya

I like Mourinho a lot but if he aint good enough for Chelski and with all that money can't build a team good enough to leave a trace in the CL, how come he's good enough for us and how come there are people here, who think that he will lead Milan to 2-3 consecutive, WINNING CL finals? Asking 'cause if Ancelotti isn't good enough for us anymore, then his replacement must be capable of doing considerably better than playing 2 CL finals in 3 years, winning one of them and coming to win the second as close as it gets.
Hence my "no" for Mourinho and I don't wanna see Milan playing 1-dim football and boring the ball and the fans to death.
Should we let Carlo go - a mistake IMO - there are two names I hope Milan will seriously consider - Lippi and Hiddink, in this order. My pref is for Lippi as he's Italian and knows Milan and Serie A inside out, he knows how to win playing attractive football and also knows how to ballance success both in Serie A and the CL. Hiddink's resume speaks for itself but I am not sure how well he would handle being at the helm of a big team like Milan. He's always been successful in his carrer but with smaller teams where the expectations are much dif than ours - he's always won when that wasn't exacted from him but with Milan it would be a must. Plus, god knows how well he would addapt to Italy and Serie A.
As for Rijkaard and MvB, I think the latter needs to gain some more experience before coming to Milan, while Franky is busy with barca and will be there for at least another season or two.

Seems to me that acmilan.ru is a pirate site... that can't be official, it'd be also in the italian version...

Milan would never publish something like that... Berlusconi said to Gazzetta two days ago that he wouldn't let Carlo go...

It is not Milan's traditional behaviour to publish rumours, specially affecting someone like Carlo, but even then, with him still being coach, and in a week as decisive as this...

acmilan.ru is a pirate version of the official site.

As you people know, I hope Carlo leaves us for the good of our game. We need refreshment, and I believe Ancelotti will leave at the end of the season. Mourinho? the only thing that links us to him is that Berlusconi can be really "convincing" when he wants something, and Mourinho has always liked Milan and especcially Kaka' and Shevchenko. I remember him said his big desire is to work with a club like Milan, I've seen it on TV few years ago. On the other hand, Chelsea has all the money in the world, and only a big argument betveen him and Abramovic can push him off from London. Anyway, I would welcome him if he is ready to behave professionally like coaches in serious clubs do.

Chelsea arent going to sack him, even if they do go out to Barca all Mourinho has to do is point to the fact that they played with a man down for nearly an hour against one of the worlds best teams and only lost in the last 10 minutes. Abramovich is desperate to win the Champions League but he is not one of these mindless chairmen involved only for profits or to satisfy their ego's. he is a genuine football fan and has seen enough games to understand some situations are out of the managers control.
