This could be just all talk. We’re getting linked to every single striker out there (good & bad ones…how many so far?) since Milan hasn’t been doing anything. Sports.it is saying Juventus is interested in Iaquinta in case Trezequet leaves. They have been since when Ibra was thinking of leaving.

Iaquinta hhmm, well not that exiting! but he works hard and is pretty fast so maybe he´s not that bad after all.
p.s. to keep things in perspective, he´s good for that kind of money (10 mil euro) but he´s no superstar, but what kind of world class striker can we get these days (please don´t say Berlusconi can get whoever he wants because thats not true anymore) they all seems out of reach

Iaquinta is good and promoising but he i not our solution. I really dont want to sound very pesimistic but this is not funny any more, I always had this idea in my mind that the managament knows what thery doing even if it doesnt look like that, and they proofed me right with Nesta and Gila case, but this year I am getting worried as all of you are. Its true that we didnt have luck against Barca in the semis and with Juve in the scudeto race but I am aware that we didnt play the best football in the world last year, and with Barca, Real and Chelsea getting better and better I am scared, not to mention the - 7 points in the beginig of the season. And we should be aware that neutral people, europe and sponsors are gona loose interest in us after shevcenko departure, and failing to replace him. There is one positive thing that happened this summer and thats, PIRLO ( if he plays as in the WC) he is gonna make the difference, same goes for Rino and Gila. But we need at least one quality striker if we want to achieve the last years level. But I know my excpectation and I know yours and that makes me scared..

Iaquinta makes me think of Inzaghi when he is close to death...

He does not know how to control the ball... and he spoils my mood!

Berlusconi according to Corriere dello Sport has no intention to spend big sum this summer. He wants the team to "walk with their own legs", financially speaking.
Just hope he's lying like Moratti "our market is closed" before Ibrahimovic 'cos so far we have just an average team. To fight with AS Roma for the second place.

I don't see the point in spending that much on Iaquinta when Suazo would be available for a similar amount.

Actually, I owe Angelo an email, so maybe I should give him a piece of my mind and tell him to forward it to the appropriate people....

and yes, Supreme, I usually avoid this forum especially during the silly season b/c it's totally annoying to see people post nothing but their fantasy signings and fave players that they'd like to see on the Milan squad. and yes, Grenoli....the last couple of murmurings from our camp have gotten me very worried.

Berlo wants the team to stand on its own legs? Well, to rake in the money you have to have a product worth something. Is he possibly angry that we got nothing out of the Shev deal?

I really hope he's only acting 'undercover operation' style, because if he's telling the true... well, the next season will be something way down UGLY for us all...

I agree... I'm sick of all the crap flying around. I try to ignore, but sometimes its impossible. There should an 'ignore forum' tool, so the entire Transfer forum won't be visible
