Actually I'd like people to make the commitment to Rezag as he's our server guy--he deals with the payments. To those who have questions, contact Rezag and he'll let you know what methods he can accept. God bless that man for doing that for us!!

Kui, had I known way back when--like in January 1999-- what I'd have to go thru to keep this place going, I don't know if I'd have done it! If someone had said to me at some point, "oh by the way, the original owner..Jan?...he's going to vanish completely..." I think I'd have had second thoughts. But the thing is, everyone here is part of my family, and when anything affects the site, I think first of the people who depend on it every day!

Ok, well just count this as my commitment to rezag then. To anyone who was asking....paypal is the easiest way, takes about 1 minute (if you have an account) to send it to rezag as a payment. Otherwise just make an account at paypal, takes a few minutes at most. I'm sure there are other ways (money order, check) but then that makes it complicated and puts more burden on rezag I would assume.

Yes, other methods are tougher, and some methods people have asked about inthe past have extra fees at both ends, for sender and for Rez. PayPal is the easiest, and I've been using it for nearly 4 years.

Hi guys, first of all thanks Debs for contributing so much to this site I never knew you took such a personal sacrifice for everybody.

Sorry plp I just don’t have enough cash, paying off parents, sisters, I am just too in debt.

Please post details on how to make the payments and where to. Just make it clearer so members like me can see how simple it is and will think of it. The way it is right now is kind of complicated and doesnt encourage me to chip in. Please be clear with the details and I will gladly help.

I'm still in high-school, so I could make a contribution, but certainly not every month, and I don't think those one-time contributions are the sollution. ever thought of going at a free hosting service such as forumer?

And what do you think a free server would do to a forum like this? People complain here if things run even the slightest bit slower than they are used to. Find something that fits our specs, let Rez know and let him take a look at it. We have to think performance if this place is going to be used.

So where do we stand on this? Do we have 10 people ready to commit $16 every month? Will there be a schedule? Such as "all monthly payments due by 15th, or the 3rd Friday of the month" or something?

I was wondering the same thing myself....people have stepped forward, are they willing to be REGULAR contributors or are we stuck at yet another round of one-time donors. Rez, have people PMed you and given you any indication?

And midori, Rez said to me earlier that he'd try to come up with some sort of schedule for us. He understands how we're charged or billed, so he'd have to let us know.
