guys ! i am sorry to go off point, but it is my point of view that we are bunch of dreamers who love milan and spend a lot of time speaking and debating on who is coming and who is leaving and many of us know for sure that these talks are pointless while others think that maybe galliani enter out forum and read our posts and do what we want.....!!!!! i am not saying that this posting isn't fun, but some people just are over reacting and ....!!! any way some local newspapers stated that ac milan has an egyptian goalkeeper in its youth programs ... something which looks very fictious but very nice so i am asking people who won't be mad from this post to check this up for me ( his name is mohammed el-ashram and he is 16/17 years old ) ... also folks who will not be mad ... since i will sit to the computer a lot i hope somebody could give me an easy free link to download the latest football manager , does it work on windows vista? , is it fun any way?... sorry again for going off point.... viva milano

Although part of me wishes for the 'star' names, i am convinced that the majority of the 'new blood' we need can be bought within Italy. However, i am on the side of revolution as opposed to evolution. The purpose of which is to get rid of the 'dead wood' that's in our squad. Here is what i would propose.

GK: My first choice would be Boruc, though the Pole has just signed a new contract so i doubt he'll move on. Frey would be my next choice. I would also bring back Abbiati or Storari.

Defence: Zambrotta i think is a must, his dual full-back positions make him invaluable. I would also sign Vargas and make him first choice left-back. Lastly i would sign Zapata and make him starting CB along with Nesta. De Silvestri would be nice but i think he needs to stay on at Lazio for a little longer.

Midfield: For me, i'd be looking for 2 or 3 players to really refresh things. A new DM for one, someone who can step in & push Ambrosini/Gattuso for a starting spot. So i'd go for either Flamini (free transfer i believe) or Gargano. For the creative midfield spot, the choices are either Cigarini or Hamsik. Montolivo is another option but would be more expensive i think.

Attack: I believe our side needs a Messi/Robinho-esque type of player. Someone with pace, some trickery and can drift wide if needs be. There are a number of options here with Giovinco (though Juve would not sell), Rosina (expensive no doubt) or Jimenez (more than likely to move to Inter). But there is also Lavezzi who would hopefully be cheaper. Now onto the strikers where i would go for Amauri & Berbatov.

So for a more managable amount of money (don't forget we'd recoup cash from some sales and would have players that can be used in deals i.e. £12 million + Kaladze for Lucio maybe or the same amount + Gilardino for Amauri??)

My squad:

GK: Frey, Abbiati, Fiori/Storari
DF: Vargas, Jankulovski, Zapata, Nesta, Bonera, Kaladze (though i'd sell him if we could get Lucio), Oddo, Zambrotta
MD: Ambrosini, Pirlo, Gattuso, Flamini, Hamsik, Gargano (Gourcuff on loan)
FW: Kaka, Lavezzi, Berbatov, Amauri, Pato, Inzaghi

First 11: Frey, Vargas, Zapata, Nesta, Zambrotta, Gargano, Pirlo, Gattuso, Kaka, Berbatov, Amauri

Bench: Abbiati, Kaladze, Oddo, Flamini/Ambrosini, Hamsik, Lavezzi, Pato

Good choices, Jim. But i really really doubt that a team like Milan would go for so many unproven youngsters. All of them are quality players, of course. Huge talents and huge potential. But teams like Milan, who always try to win everything, need proven players and mostly 1 or 2 youngsters.

From your team Zambrotta, Lucio, Amauri and Berbatov are players that Milan would like and try to get. All of them proven, all of them class.
But from the youngsters you mentioned, one, maximum 2 of them could find themselves in Milan this winter/summer.

I don't think i would go out on a limb if I said Zambrotta WILL go to us in the summer. I am hardly a prophet, but I know enough to say this with certainty. Lets put up a silly number too, 95%

Ronaldinho seems more than likely too, but not as certain as the Zambrotta one.

1. Barcelona don't use him and don't need him (apart as backup the rest of this season)
2. He stated before we are the team he want to play for.
3. We want him.

Yes, i wonder where i could have gotten all those names from? I'll have to employ you as my official scout!

I doubt it'll happen either. However, if you look at the starting 11, there are only 3 'unproven' players in it, 1 of which is Zapata who is familiar enough with Serie A. It is only Vargas & Gargano who are the risks. The bench is made up of a few other 'unprovens', but it is these players that will add the fight back to our team. They'll be eager to prove themselves and hungry to win, i don't think you'd get that with some more established players.

Strange as Al Ahram is very reliable when it comes to sport, as for the link, I will ask my friends Hisham, and I will PM you if I find any thing.
