I'm quite happy with this signing. I know Zambro is best at right-back, but I think Carlo may play him as a left-back. I don't see us getting rid of Oddo this summer because Oddo is homegrown, and we don't really have too many reinforcements on our right side. Plus, I don't see how any player worsen so much in such a short time, so I think Oddo still has the ability to perform well. I think that Bonera will most likely feature a lot more as a right-back and Zambro will start on the left.

So excited about PIRLO-ZAMBRO partnership, if we could just sneak Grosso form lyon and we are settled. Even when not at his best, his much better option than most wing backs out there. The management has enforced the team with players that were a necessity. Dont wanna jump to conclusion,however flamini in Zambro in Borriello in(most probably) Gila out Oliveira out Abbiati out Gorky on loan Paloschi on loan Di gennaro on loan These are really great moves for the present but also for the future, there is much more left to do here,but this is a good start.

This is probably not the correct place to debate this but Milan is not buying a goalkeeper or getting rid of Abbiati as many of you have posted. Per Galliani, Fiori has left and we have given up on Lloris with the intention that Abbiati, Dida and Kalac will be our three keepers next season (not in that order necessarily).
Anyway I think ZAMBROTTA is a fantastic signing. He was man of the match against Belgium last night and he is far from done. He is going to be huge for us next year since he can play on both the left and right full back positions and in midfield if we desperately need him to for some reason. I was always a fan of defenders who can play in midfield when needed (gives your squad depth without having 10 midfielders on the roster). Anyway...maybe I'm getting too excited....Zambro hasn't played in midfield for several years now. Good stuff Mr. Galliani! |

Considering he can play as LB and RB I hope Galliani doesn't count him as 2 signings and thus closing the gaps Cafu and Serginho left.
