Personally, I don't think Pirlo will be a huge loss for Milan, I mean, from the past few games that Pirlo played, he was not a factor for Milan or Italy anyway.
It will be good to see who Carlo's will play in his place or just switch to a completely different formations.

Personally, to me, Max and Flamini must play in the midfield as both of them runs and tackles.
I would like to see R80 with Kaka playing AM
and Borreillo and Pato playing upfront.

But it is in the back that I worry about.
I hope Antonini will play and show the world that he can be Milan's LB for now.

I don't think Carlo will change the formation, playing with three DM is in his blood he will find a player that can play as a DM beside both finished Ambro and Flamini and play him I can bet on that.

From the press conference today:

Zambro will rest, as will Maldini.

Flamini or Emerson will take Pirlo's position. More likely Flamini because he's in better form (duh)

Ronaldinho + Sheva (may) be able to play 40-50 minutes of the match tomorrow. Didn't say anything about Kaka so I assume that means he's fine.

He spoke to Pato and their meeting had a positive result. He says Pato must understand what a player of his qualities must do when he's on the pitch.

Senderos isn't fit for tomorrow but they hope he will be for Sunday.

Last but not least, Dida will start in goal.

MILANELLO - Carlo Ancelotti convoca 18 giocatori per Milan-Zurigo:
Dida, Kalac, Antonini, Bonera, Darmian, Favalli, Jankulovski, Kaladze, Ambrosini, Emerson, Flamini, Gattuso, Borriello, Kakŕ, Pato, Seedorf, Shevchenko, Ronaldinho.
Giocatori non convocati: Maldini, Pasini, Zambrotta.
Giocatori indisponibili: Senderos, Pirlo, Inzaghi.

My lineup since Senderos is unavailable:

Dida; Bonera, Favalli, Kaladze, Jankulovski/Antonini; Flamini, Seedorf, Ambrosini; Kaka; Pato, Borriello.

Line up looks good - only the defense is unconvincing

^^ It's the best we have for this match...except if Antonini plays RB and Bonera plays CB and Favalli takes care of laundry

Hhhmmm, why no Abbiati + Zambro? Are we resting them? I worry about Favalli (and the Dida) ...

Zambro to rest; chance for Dida to redeem himself.

I am glad to hear that Pato has met with the management and that something positive came out.

Oh yeah Carlo has already declared the Uefa Cup a secondary competition for now but if we survive till March then it becomes an interesting competition. Thought we were fighting for everything?

I agree; only if we reach until March. I won't be surprised if we are out early.

If we have to be out of UEFA Cup, the best is to lose against Zurich !! lol
I'm not a fan of this competition as I said in another topic, and like we are in trouble, I would prefer our team to only play Serie A ...

It is sad to hear that Milan is not able to compite in two competitions at the same time. A club like Milan should win both Uefa Cup and Scudetto but this is not the Milan we all know. So it is not surprising.

Agree with you in this point. Competing in 2 (3 with coppa) competitions is pretty plain for me. This season our depth of squad far deeper than the last 2 years.
Plus we 'only' play in uefa factor.

Definitly much deeper.

Any streams for the match, I would like to watch it?
