I dont see the problem with Bonera substitution? It was a good and normal decision since Inter had few good headers up front... Only few people judged against it.
Brk Inter is an excellent team and there is NO TEAM IN THE WORLD that can play against Inter without letting them create chances with the players like Quaresma, MAncini, Ariano, Ibrahimović, Maicon... Its not possible. Milan did not play as brilliant as against lets sayyy...United 3:0, or few years back, but that was a great Milan. Its always easy to say " lets be calm", " lets wait for response from a coach..." Its not some brave wisdom or seriousnesss of a person actually saying nothing... If we worked in Milan we would act like that, but we are Milan fans, some more some less. Milan had some horrible games in past year and a half in serie a and changes needed to be made. And they were made fortunately. By the act of whole Milanello, from directors to all of the staff that works there. Anyway. we did great against extremly strong Inter. Pragmatic and smart performance is the best possible performance. 4-3 is not the result wqe need...Milan was never like Barca. And we will not win against Inter and Juve by 4-1 or so... that was more then enough. Inter had ONE 100% chance. Few free kicks and two shots from outside of the 16m area... EDIT: To Jeff: Kaka' arrived and after the first training session Carlo called Galliani and sayd that Kaka' will be in first 11 as he never had such player before in his team. The same thing Carlo said to Galliani after Pato arrived. Of course, both players were picked by Leonardo. About Maldini - he didnt paly brilliantly. Im convinced he cant play brilliantly anymore, but that we can use him in great way by reducing the number of games he plays. In the start of tjhe season that wasnt possible due to extremly ppor form of Kaladze ( which therefore couldnt be paired up with Bonera ) and injuries of Senderos and Nesta. Maldini will have more great matches like on sunday but also more mistakes like against Genova...we need to play him with quality not quantiti. FORZA GRANDE MILAN!

Maldini and Kaladze function much better when Nesta is on thier side, he clears all the mess they make, and BTW i think Maldini did have a bad period back in the late 90's and after Nesta's arrival he started to be more consistent, correct me is i'm wrong
![]() Nesta is the man we need right now, we will have an unstoppable force when he's back, so its good news he started running again ![]() |

I hope some people complimented Seedorf and Abbiati for their performance and not just Dinho because they were really really great.Abbiati stopped all balls and was really confident in the goal.In the begin of the season allot of persons said that Abbiati wasnt good enough but i said he was because he had something what Dida and Kalac dont have:confidence,he knows what he is capable of,you can call it arrogance but i call it confidence.Abbiati will save our asses in a few games this seasen:mark my words.
Seedorf was great in midfield,he was calm at the ball and he improved the field play.He is the man right now who is in form.It doesnt mather wether he runs allot or not,he is good very good and he proved it,Seedorf should be in the starting eleven each week because he is playing consistently well. Forza Milan! |

It looks like I shouldn't watch Milan games anymore ... I watched the first two games, we lost, I unfortunately missed the last two games, we won ...

I think Maldini played brilliantly - but he did have considerable help from Gattuso and Ambrosini. He just needs two holding midfielders in front of him and fast wingbacks. He also cannot play a high offsides trap because if it gets mistimed he is SOL

Milan are definitely the big game players. I think Ancelotti has to adjust the mentality of the players that a victory against Inter is equivalent in points to a victory against Cagliari. Once they get that in their heads, the scudetto is ours.
There is no chance any of the minnows can beat Milan while they are in full flight if they play with the same determination as they did in this match against the strongest team in Serie A at the moment. A quick comment on Abbiati - commentators have mentioned how unsure he seemed. I am not sure what game they were watchng but he was well placed the whole game and reacted very well to difficult situations. That being said, I can't help but laugh at the Channel4 headline regarding him: "I am a fascist- Abbiati" LOL. |

He is short, a good cross will lead a good header way high than Abbiati could get to

Abbiati is not that good in the air, but luckily he is in Seria A and not EPL so most attacks come through the middle
