As much as I don't want, I think Milan is not going to beat Inter.

Prove me wrong Milan!

How on earth is Carlo going to fix the defence? The only thing he can do is protect his weak defence, but when he does that by fielding 2 or 3 defensive mids or by bringing on Emerson he just gets abuse.

He really is in a no win situation. He doesnt have a truely world class defender who is at the top of his game available to him. Kaladze seems to get worse every season, Bonera makes 1 great tackle and then 5 fouls, Senderos...., Maldini isnt competitive in a true one on one battle any more, Favalli.......,
Janku is playing pretty well, but isnt exactly known for his amazing defending, Zambrotta has been ordinary apart from his goal. Nesta probably has cob webs on his legs by now and alot of us may just be surprised that he isnt the worlds best defender anymore, when he does actually return. How old is he again??

How can Carlo be blaimed for this?

I read that Senderos would be availabile for sunday game against inter, now the problem is, who will be the partner with him, probabily Kaladze becose he looks a little bit confident ahead of Bonera and Maldini.
Yes this is our biggest problem, but i think if we played well in attack and score a lot, we will win this.
And Jeff, im sure that we will win this one. Wanna prove, we have Sheva, and he score in every game that he played against inter, i think thats enough, for me.

We need Nesta to come back ASAP. Maldini is too old for one on ones, Senderos is too slow, and Kaladze is too Kaladze.

Is it possible to play with two keepers?

Maldini / Bonera is my vote.

Up front - Kaka - Sheva - Pato. Midfield Gattuso - Seedorf - Ambrosini

^^ I don't know...I think we need Flamini's high work rate against Inter. Don't know who I'd drop between Gattuso and Ambro but IMO Flamini deserves to start.

Yes, i will take Maldini and Bonera too. Bonera did play pretty well when called upon to do so in the past but he need some games and of course a partner that doesn't drag him down like that awful Kaladze. Senderos can come in when we need him to. I hope borriello is ok to start this match instead of sheva, his strong presence make defenders irritated....

our ideal triangle offense is kaka-pato-boriello.
but in this classic match, i want to see shevie play.
also materazzi must be there at opposite.

shevie against materazzi would be awesome

Sheva can't and shouldn't just magically start against Inter. That should only happen iff Borriello's injury doesn't allow him to start against Inter. I would honestly play the formation we have been playing over the last few matches:

Abbiati; Zambrotta, Bonera, Maldini, Jankulovski; Gattuso, Flamini; Seedorf, Kaka; Pato, Borriello.

No point benching Pato...the boy is on a run. Flamini and Gattuso would be instructed to attack less and to double up with the FB when defending against Inter's wing attacks, especially on Janku's side. With some good positional play I think we can pull this off.

Bahahahahaw!

I'd put Senderos with Bonera in defence for now, with either Zambrotta and Janku, or Janku and Antonini on the wings.
To hold off Viera and co, I would have Seedorf, Flamini and Gattuso to hold up the ball and distribute.
To take on inters sickly defence, it has to be either Kaka, Pato and Boriello (baring injuries). If not, I'd really want to try out Kaka, Pato and Ronaldinho from the get-go. From the reports so far, it seems Ronnie has been getting his form (and shape) back, it could bring something different and unexpected to the team, moreso than Sheva (whom I can assume Mourinho knows inside out by now). Plus, Ronnie actually has a record of scoring against their coaches team. It might actually work..

it's better Kaladze-Maldini,cause kaladze can cover better ibra than bonera bonera makes a lot of fauls it would be better Kaladze. And if Jankullovski is not fit than i woulb put zambrotta in the left and Flamini on the right he can play great on the right defence.
