To get more success, Dinho simply must move much more. If he won't or is incapable of doing so, then he must be benched by Leo, as he will only hamper the team, especially in the modern game where movement is paramount. Him being in the starting lineup is already imbalancing the side, and if on top of that he fails to perform to the expected standard then we have no chance of playing coherently.
You're right, Dev. The key to modern football is workrate. If R80 decides to work harder, run more, track back to help out defense, he can play anywhere---either as trequartista or second striker.

Problem I see is that with a slow and fairly static midfield like ours, the trequartista has to be able to add an injection of pace to turn games. Kaka did that to devastating effect. Ball would move around slowly from left to right, then Pirlo finds him in space and bang next thing you know, Kaka is at the opposition penalty area. Dinho can't do that anymore. As a second striker, there would simply be less space for him to cover and he could cause more damage while being nearer to goal. But in the end, you are right, it depends on whether he chooses to run or to jog (or in the case of the derby, walk).

The formation that Carlo created: 4-3-2-1, depends actually heavily not only on Kaka` but also the full back.

But with defense-prone Janku and the aging Zambro, no wonder we suffer.

Pirlo is even worse on defense but he plays there. With Seedorf we'll get some added strength in the midfield, if he decided to show up of course. Otherwise we end up with his twin brother Slowdorf and then we're in trouble.

Plus he hasn't won anything worth mentioning in club level then. After winning the UCL, La Liga, and FIFA World Player of the Year twice at the age of 25, then the self-complacency set in

Why do people support Seedorf after a 30mins half in it he ran!!!! HE should be running all the time.

IT is like he plays like crap 90% of the time and play above average in 10% of the time and people start saying he is good again. Come on people.

Why do we support Seedorf? Well, what other options have we got at the moment?

I think the best we can do with our available resources would be to rotate them around.
We got problems in our midfield right now, its a little too slow for the present day football, so use dhino initally and see if he s doing well or else substitute him with Seedorf. I ve been this saying quite often than not that Abate needs to be used somwher. Be it in the midfield or a RB position. He s young and he s got strength and pace. So why not use it. We definitely need a replacement for Janku. Pato is our second striker and i think Huntlaar is class if he can get the ball from the midfield. I think in the 4-3-1-2 formation, Dhino needs to play a little further down getting the ball from the midfield line. But the biggest problem he s too slow and tends to lose the ball quite easily. Lets see what Leo s got up his sleeves for the upcoming game agianst Livorno.

Abate would be an option, but really guys, apart from a decent preseason what has this guy done? He hasnt really set Torino on fire last year has he? If I had a crunch CL game, I would play Seedorf over Abate anyday.

And just to be clear, I'd love for Ronaldinho to be in Inter. He does have the pace, the vision and passes and touches. He is not just a bit more "ordinary" than when he was with Barca
