Romas slump coincided with Cassanos. Last season was not Cassanos best in his career, count on that. With or without attitude. Let us hope he'll leave his mark wearing
These stats doesn't make him better than Kakà who have had the best first season ever in serie a for a young foreigner player

both are great.... if it werent for that attitude problem cassano would just be almost the best buy... the best would be a weah/van basten like player... big guy with great skills and can drop back at times... i.e drogba zlatan like! thats what i think atleast

I don't want to compare Cassano with other players, let alone Maradona. We already have Shevckenko, Inzaghi, Tomasson and Crespo -- adding Cassano's talent into this existing quartet is great!

...but seriously folks, his super-ego? It is unfortunate that his attitude is overshadowing his talents at the moment. Unless Ancelotti can sort this fellow out, I'd rather see him somewhere else than Milan.

IMO he should go to Chelsea, and warm their bench.

Cassano VS Murinho should be a great match. see who get the knockout punch.

but i think cassano is a very good player. the problem is whether Ancelotti can tame him which i think he might be able to. if Ancelotti can make inter reach second place and almost gotten the champs then he must have some special man management skills that we are unaware of.

AC Milan target Gilardino: I want to leave Parma in Serie A
tribalfootball.com - March 21, 2005

Parma striker Alberto Gilardino admits if he must leave at the end of this season then he wants to join "a great club".

Gilardino reportedly already has an agreement with AC Milan for next season and he said: "If I had to leave Parma I would want to leave the club in Serie A and with a beautiful memory of me.

"However, in order to move from Emilia I would demand I go to one of the great clubs.

"In any case, my next future goal I see is staying in Italy because I do not want to lose my national team place. Then later it would appeal to me an experience in Spain."

Personally, Cassano is too ugly to be a Rosseneri

But personal preference aside, his talent will definitely be an asset to Milan. However if were to choose between Cassano and Gilardino, i would choose the latter for his subtle character but dare-to-win attitude, so often seen in Parma's recent good UEFA outing. I believe this under-rated young talent will surpass the likes of Cassano in years to come.

I realize so many friends are talking about Cassano's attitude, that's because he doesn't admire. He doesn't admire his coach his mates and his team. He can never be the same errogant with Rossoneri, the best are around him.

Cassano, not for me.

Cassano, is a very good player but Im still not convinced Id want him especially as his price is likely to be about £25m, there are better deals available.

the latest on cassano

Roma-Cassano Meeting Soon
7/26/2005 8:02:00 AM
The Giallorossi want to offer a new contract to the young talent.
Roma have not given up hope yet on renewing Antonio Cassano’s contract as they are desperately trying to hold on to ‘Peter Pan’ instead of losing him next year on a free transfer.

The club has therefore decided to meet the player’s agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, and offer a 5-year deal at 4 million Euros per year. Cassano will most likely refuse the offer as other clubs can offer him a higher salary.

A lot also depends on the player’s willingness to stay in Rome, which after the incidents with the Giallorossi fans in this early part of the pre-season, the chances of Cassano remaining in the Capital city remain very bleak.

free next summer??? ... i was thinking, we were thinking of EITHER gila OR cassano, who wouldve thought we could end up having both? the future of italy at milan??? ... personally i am still not satisfied with having pippo here, i would love to see us have cassano instead and roma are forced to sell if he doesnt sign the contract ... i think we could get him at a low price, maybe if nonda was forced to go back because of their embargo we can trade players... wait, come to think of it, with that embargo, doesnt it mean cassano will surely leave for free next season?? unless some1 signs him in january? i mean, they cant be involved in transfers, output or input... maybe a pre-contract should be made, maybe we can make a profit by bringing cassano here, we sell inzaghi, we get money, we get cassano for free... so its cassano + $$$ - inzaghi =
