Many of you say that cassano would cause us trouble, but if he joing milan, he WILL behave himself! He simply has to, and when he sees how big milan is, he will be simply humble... But, moggi and silvio talked it out, antonio is going to juve...too bad but its true...

as much as i hate del piero i have to admit the last part of the previous season up til now hes been putting up some good performances... the problem with both him and cassano is that they both would want to be 1st team players and not backups... if del piero or cassano is ready to come up and play half an hour along with a start every now and then then id take them any second, but they dont so i think we would be much better off selling inzaghi (something i always wanted, dont ask) and getting di vaio maybe... id love to see cassano stay another 2-3 years at roma where inzaghi and vieri should be gone and then he would come but that is not likely to happen

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned it would be great to have Del Piero so he can make sure the pitch is nice and clean since he spends most of his time wiping the pitch up because he is always sprawled out on the ground . . . however he can also draw a nice foul in the penalty area consistently, and lastly he has the scoring touch Crespo had although not the speed of our dearly departed Hernan.

Ancelotti opens door to Delpiero

Source: Football Italia

Carlo Ancelotti’s comments have opened the door to a sensational transfer deal – Alessandro Del Piero could join Milan.

“There are many players I have trained and would gladly work with again. Del Piero is one of them because he is a consummate professional and it’s always a pleasure for a Coach to deal with that kind of person,” said the Rossoneri boss in today’s Press Conference.

Ancelotti’s time at Juventus coincided with Del Piero’s serious knee injury, but he always gave him the benefit of the doubt and played him even when he was off form. Now the Bianconeri captain is finding life tough in Turin and often benched by Coach Fabio Capello.

This has led to reports that Juve will hand Del Piero over to Milan in order to make way for Roma’s rebellious Antonio Cassano – and Ancelotti has done nothing to deny those rumours.

“I have already said it in the past and I repeat it now, the doors to the Milanello training ground are always open for Del Piero. I have an excellent rapport with him.”

The ex-Juve boss has even gone so far as to work out a tactical solution to put him alongside the current crop of stars at the San Siro.

“Del Piero is a forward, just like Kaka, Manuel Rui Costa or Christian Vieri, albeit with different characteristics to all of them. He’d be a different solution for Milan.”

With Juve’s interest in Cassano no secret and Del Piero’s fine form for the Italy squad midweek – in which he played in a trident attack with Rossoneri duo Vieri and Alberto Gilardino – this could be more than a mere summer rumour.

After all, Milan have shown they are capable of reviving the careers of those who feel let down by their clubs. Marcos Cafu, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf and now Vieri have all found a new lease of life at the San Siro, so Del Piero may think he could benefit from the same treatment in the year leading up to the World Cup.

No Way!

I hope this is not true as del piero is past it ! He is too old ! we need a young starlet. We also need another left sided midfielder as seedorf loses the ball too many times in midfield and a rightback. I hope this is not true and i dont think we need cassano either unless he plays in midfield! I have watched del many times for both italy and juve as the rest of my family are juve supporters! He has a moment of brilliance with the rest being mistakes!

NO DEL and cant Wait For ASCOLI!

Yep that is pretty usual, when a player is playing good and is in top form we do give him all the qualities even those which he does not posses. And when a player is going through a bad patch like Alex we tend to take away all his qualities even those he posses, for e.g Delpiero's creativity.
