Torres won't go to Chelsea when he knows he isn't guaranteed a place in the first team. Especially with Sheva+Crespo+others.

The deal is simply WONDERFUL, and with Gattuso and Vogel we don't need to replace Ambrosini. Furthermore, 25 M is not anymore an overwhelming amount of cash by today insane calciomercato standards, you cannot think about that matters bearing in mind standards from 10 years ago.

He had an average season in Serie A and played really badly in the WC. He can't replace Shevchenko.

I support Gary Lineker on this:

C'mon, mk18...
We won't face relegation and it represents that next season Milan will make considerably more money than last one (new sponsor + tv deal).
I think 25mill + 18 mill Atlético owe + Dida/Ambro is fair. I just wondering why Dida is involved in this deal. Do we have a new keeper to rplace him?

Well since it does appear more likely every day that Juventus will be relegated and since the speculation about Buffon seems to grow stronger each day, I suppose that could be the answer.

Besides.. if Dida won't renew his contract this year.. it's better to get some money out of him than to allow him to leave on free transfer next year.

Milan are weighing up a summer bid for Atletico Madrid ace Maxi Rodriguez, who has sparkled at the World Cup.

Rodriguez has chipped in with three goals for Argentina, including a stunning winner in his country's 2-1 victory over Mexico on Saturday.

The midfielder's exploits in Germany have pricked the attention of Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, who is compiling his transfer wish list.

A willing runner with a touch of class, Rodriguez is just the type of player who appeals to Ancelotti and a bid is being prepared.

Reports claim that Milan would be ready to put down €25 million (£18 million) for Rodriguez, who joined Atletico from Espanyol for £8 million 12 months ago.

Alternatively, the Rossoneri could stump up €15 million (£10 million) for the 25-year-old and offer a player in part-exchange.

However, Milan's current predicament is preventing the club from launching an all-out assault to capture Rodriguez and his Atletico team-mate Fernando Torres.

Milan are among four Serie A clubs being investigated for match-fixing allegations and any punishment could see them relegated from the top flight.

Such an eventuality would plunge Ancelotti's transfer plans into disarray and likely make Rodriguez an unobtainable target.

Milan will got Gigi 99%, Oddo will also be ours. With Maxi Rodriguez and Torres, MAYBE Gallas if Chelsea finnaly decides to sell unhappy man, we are 100% ready for everything. thats my prediction....

And with Spain already busted out of the WC, Torres' final decision about his future will come pretty soon, I guess.
