What's the problem with such assertion?

Answer: It may well be true that whoever is filial will get higher GPAs. In other words, we are not sure who leads / causes what. To apply this in Shevchenko's case, it may well be true that Shevchenko wants to leave; to attribute his leaving to Ancelotti is as groundless as attributing it to his wife.

Another assumption underlying your argument, and such assumption is unwarranted, at least until now. You are blaming Carlo for Sheva's departure. The word 'blame' itself bears assumption: that sheva's leave will contribute to the fall-apart of Milan.

Truth: Although we cannot judge Milan now given that season has just started, Milan has conceded 1 goal, scored 5 goals in Serie A; 6 goals in CL (including prelim), 1 goal conceded. That's 11 goals in total, 2 goals conceded in 6 games. You can further argue that our opponents are less powerful, but I beg you to think twice about the number of goals Milan has scored since the beginning of the season. Having said, if I am rational, then I should be indifferent about Shevchenko has left or no, since Milan's performance has not been affected, at least thus far.
very fair opinion,i must say.

Seedorf should not have talked back, but I guess he was just being defensive at that moment. After all, he is a 30-year-old, and a 30-year-old doesn't like to be criticized in public, no matter how rightful the boss is. Trust me, I know.

I see no reason otherwise, their relationship has been special. Ancelotti is fond of Seedorf, which is no secret; and Seedorf ought to know (I am sure he knows and appreciates that) that it was Ancelotti who, under great pressure, rescued him out of the Merda Hole and promised that if he was to become Dutch NT coach, he would bring a then-34-year-old Seedorf to South Africa World Cup. But I am glad that Carlo saw (and didn't mind pointing out publicly ) that Seedorf was too slow. He is a coach, and I am sure that he can do something to whip Seedorf's lazy @$$ . If we don't see Seedorf playing mid-week, don't get surprised. I, for one, like to see him on the bench, and Gourcuff obviously is more familiar with another French side and might have some extra motivations to do better.

I have always stood behind Ancelotti, but I wasn't happy about his lack of response this match and I am not afraid to say it loud. It was different from Istanbul fiasco, we were dominating and we were just extremely unlucky. Someone might go as far as blaming that Ancelotti should have realized that Hamman was on so we should have reacted. I don't agree with that and wouldn't blame Ancelotti at all. You can't really do anything about that 6 minutes. When it happened, it happened. All we could do was to score more later on, which didn't happen unfortunately. If anybody, I would blame that English $tudent. He shouldn't have touched the trophy before the game, he shouldn't have opened a champagne at the half time, and he definitely should have scored 2 or 3 goals in that game easily. This is kind of off topic, but I am kind of glad that he went away. He might as well be our bad luck charm. Who could have so many good goals disallowed in 2 finals and 1 semifinal in 4 years?

My criticism on Carlo was only that: he should have utilized the two wings when Livorno obviously stacked 10 people in the middle. Maybe he was unlucky to have two forced substitutes, but still, he was to blame for this 2 lost points.

Other than that, I wouldn't panick. Palermo failed today, and Inter will do the same thing sooner or later. We are still good in Scudetto chase. And I still support Ancelotti with all heart ; if anyone is interested, feel free to dig out all my old posts. I thought so, and I still think so.

What coach doesn't feel this pressure? There are good reactions and bad reactions to pressure. I see Carlo's reaction as a good one - he is seeing a problems that must be addressed and expressing it, it's not really Clarence's position to argue with him about it. Pointing out than Clarence can often be too slow (thank you Captain Obvious) is something that has been expressed here plenty of times - just because the cameras caught him saying (and I'm sure it wasn't the first) doesn't make it into a dire situation and I don't think Carlo owes us any more explanation beyond what he has said.

"You’re lucky I’ve run out of substitutions".

Also, unlike many other coaches, Ancelotti has a sense of humor and he is sensitive. I am sure that he only criticizes his players when he believes that they can take it in a positive way. We didn't know that E$ has such an unappreciative and lying personality, so that was an exception.

IMHO, Ancelotti might be a bit slow and a bit conservative, but I like him as our coach.

IF these are the words used by the two then Seedorf is out of order. This is the first time this has happened so it can be overlooked, but if he cant respect the coach then he can go back to inter and feel right at home. Seedorf is enjoying the number 10 shirt and is trying to fi into the role, but thats not what Milan need from him. We need him to play the same role as previous seasons. Ancelotti was absolutely right to tell him to pass quickly. Its the only way you are going to get behind a Livorno defence.

Seedorf needs to learn who's in charge ... and it's not him. He needs to shut up, take the criticism and play the game, his role isn't to answer back and undermine the coach.

While I agree that Seedorf should just have swallowed what Carlo had to say, I think that his comeback was good!!

Sounds like just the snappy retort that someone I kno well would resort to.

At least what has been obvious to most here for sometime, is finally dawning on Carlo...ie the fact that Clarence, as good as he is, is often waaaaay too slooooooow on the ball...seems like he plays in a sort of slow motion way...though his set piece recently was one of the goals of the season for Milan so far.

Kaka has taken a swipe at the tactics of AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti after last night's 0-0 draw at Lille.

"I'm unhappy," rapped the Brazilian, who complained of being played out-of-position by Ancelotti. "I do not feel good.

"The fact is that I would be more useful to the team if I played as a trequartista for the entire game. I can create more chances that way."

how long will this go on?

also only if this was tru as berlu once said..

"the day Ancelotti plays one striker is the day I have his resignation"

By the way that quotation is incorrect.

This is what Kaka said (I know Italian): "Personally I much prefer the tactic with two forwards, as that way I don’t have to hold on to the ball so much..."

You can read that in channel 4 too...that is hardly saying what you have up there (probably from tribal football).

Ancelotti has played a christmas tree formation very very rarely since Berlu said that.

We have loose Sheva cause of Ancellotti, we risq to loose KAKA. The squad doesn't play well. It's just my opinion. I'm fan since 1994 and I'm not ok with Ancelloti. I think Lippi is the best coach. The Italia squad is "campioni del Mondo". They win against French squad and German squad and with players who don't know where they are played few month after...Simply the best. No?
