Zanetti is a legend only for Inter... as nice a person as he is, he's not considered a legend in world football, not even in Argentina NT...

Steven Gerrard? you may hate the guy but you have to recognized he's as good as they come... wait, you don't have to? you're Zeekay...

and, it's not San Siro... they're playing at the Meazza...

Thank you for Istanbul? I think that only hurts Liverpool more when they actually played better last year in the final and still lost...

lolz.. that was another pathetic statement by Inter.they even never had been playing in Istanbul or another CL place for final... lolz.. that was awesome statement!!

and that was meant that even Inter fans knew (whatever happens) that they wouldn't go to quarter.lolz.. pathetic.. no wonder their name is Inter Merda

After Loserpool got through, i want either of these to happen:
A) All English teams are paired up which other and they eliminate each other
or
B) Each of the English teams will be eliminated by each of the remaining teams

i would rather want B because that will shut up the "pundits" who are now saying " England has 4 reps, Italy 1, Spain 1, Gemany 1, and Turkey 1. Therefore EPL is the best!". They should just shut up before karma strikes another victim

Zanetti is a legend. He has played for the same team since 1995. That's 13 years. He has been captain since 1999. That's 9 years. And he has done it with grace and style.

Your next argument is that he is not a legend of the Argentina NT. Well, this is... wrong. He has played the most caps for Argentina. And, he is captain there too.

He is also a man in my book. He raises money for the less fortunate. He has the PUPI foundation.

And he is one of the only guys in Inter team that can be respected thanks to his fair-play too. When you watch guys like Ibra, Burdisso or Cordoba (and Materazzi, and Viera, and Cambiasso and ... almost all the others lol), ask yourself what is the difference between them and Zanetti !!

For the English, saying they have the best championship because they have 4 teams in 1/4s is stupid lol !!
- MU played against Lyon: Lyon isn't a big European team, they never played a semifinal (nor a 1/4 since they lost against Milan in 2006)
- Chelsea played against Olympiakos: the match was over before being played lol
- Liverpool played against Inter: ok but Inter never played well in CL
- Arsenal played against Milan: ok but it's far to be Milan's year and Arsenal is the team to beat Milan (it's actually the perfect anti-Milan team)

On these conditions, it wasn't too difficult to place 4 teams in Top 8 I think, or at least 2-3 of them.

Another capitulation by Inter. Ibrahimovic & Cruz had a good 5 or 6 chances to score last night and took none of them, that's nothing to do with them being unlucky or Liverpool being lucky, that's just down to poor finishing. Ask Man Utd, they know all about what happens if you don't take your chances!

Torres scored another great goal and is arguably one of the most inform strikers in Europe right now. How we could use a striker of his pace, strength and movement to go alongside Kaka and one other.

I agree with you Rico

My respect on Javier Zanetti.
last night vs pool, he also showed how "the big man" act when his team was closing to defeated

Alex your saying that Inter's captain is on the same level as Maldini

Maldini has been at Milan since 85 so what does that make him?

Yes Zanetti is the Argentine captain etc but that dont make him a legend im sure people would put Batistuta above him in terms of legend satus.

The foundation has nothing to do with the CL or his career yes its a supreme gesture and a good heart but it has nothing to do with his supposed Legend status
