News about Inter

On calciomercato it states that in an English newspaper Inter may sell Martins to Spurs and then go for Tevez ! This is the second time in a week by 2 different sources that i've seen Inter linked with him. Now, add this to Channel 4's article about how Inter have bid £12.3 million for Riquelme (apparently it activates some clause in his contract) and you get to thinking that if they got both players they'd have an awesome team. Also in the Channel 4 article it states near the bottom that Inter can then play 4-4-2, with Riquelme & Cambiasso in the middle and Figo and Mancini on the wings ! Is this just a typing error or have Inter bought the Roman flying winger ?

If Inter can be linked with Riquelme and Tevez, then surely we can too, particularly the latter.

Klose is a target striker, indeed a very good one, but what we need now is an all round forward like Torres, which is not at all overrated.

BTW: why some people here are so obsessed with costs?!? That simply DOESN'T MATTER to the fans!

Actually the only striker that I can see Milan successfully replace Sheva with is Wayne Rooney, and that without changing our way of playing football. I mean he is greater than what most people give him credit for, he´s a fighter great control of the ball (even better than Sheva in IMHO) great shot, fast as hell, he can rip defenses apart in a way I don't believe Adriano, Luca Toni, Zlatan ever could. Yes I know that he didn't do much when ´we played against Man united in the CL, but neither have these gentlemen when they have face the Milan defense.

thats true but i just dont think Milan is a team that would be english players..they are worse than spanish players in terms of settling in italy, and also they are over-rated. Rooney tho, is prolly the best english player there but I dont think he will be coming.

I think Klose would do good in Milan, maybe even better than Torres.

No way, Torres and Klose are in two different classes...

no way man, i much rather have cassano who have already shown more potential than rooney. not to mention that rooney would make cassano seem like a really tame and good boy. forget it, i don't wish to see him here. i would feel disappointed if we go for him.

Rooney is great, but is plainly obvious that he never will join us, so it's useless to even think about him.

Agree on Klose, he´s a hard working guy
About that "settling in thing" this is something that the Italian teams have to work on, I don´t think it´s just up to the foreigner to settle in, make the settling in more easy or we (Milan) risk to lose all the great players to places like Spain, England , Italy didn't have to do that before when all the money was in Italy but now we have to use every weapon available to get good players.

I doubt Rooney would be interested in leaving Manchester (where he is already idolised) for Milan, remember he wouldnt move to Chelsea because London was too far from his native Liverpool

He is a lot better than Cassano imho, bear in mind that he is nowhere near full fitness yet but still did a capable job as a lone striker today and drags Utd through the season almost single handedly. I've seen a lot of player video's here recently so heres a reminder of why England want him fit and quick

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6joB2...&search=rooney

Both Rooney and Cassano are very similar players, both are strong and technically very gifted. However, Rooney is surpassing Cassano all the time even though he's younger than him. Cassano is a shadow of himself and yet there are people here that still won't give Rooney credit. Some people in here are a joke.

Excellent remark: that process of settling requires a strict cooperation between the player and the side, it's not a matter that concerns only to the incoming foreigner.

Some people in here are English. Thinking Gerrard is the best midfielder in the world. Thinking ROoney is unbelievable. You people have problems, your newspapers fill you in with all these ideas that the premiership is the best league in the world having the best players in every department. Maybe the Premiership is good, but you need to remember that the top 4 clubs in England are all run by non-English coaches. Arsenal and Chelsea have played games with NO ENGLISH player on the field.

Credit is given when its due, but im sorry, Rooney is not like Cassano.

Well, I don't know if he's the best midfielder of the world or not, and indeed methinks that questions like these are meaningless, but he's certainly a damn good one, and I'll love to see him performing with us.
