well, its not like C.Ronaldo set the EPL on fire. i don't even regard him as among the top rung of players currently in the EPL. He have not show the maturity yet even as of now. Messi has played sparingly in the La Liga too and its way too soon to say he is taking the La Liga by storm, its more hype than substance. I prefer taking players like Kaka which can make an instant impact and cement their place as the top players once they start playing for Milan. FYI, we are looking at Kaka way before his transfer, at least 2 years before his move here. We only got him when we are certain he is the ONE and look where he is now.

I can only say, trust the Milan management and our system, we seldom goes wrong with transfers.

i wish you were right bro, but i'll agree with you that most of the transfer have been ok, but certainly all of them. i can remember jose mari, rivaldo, vieri, colloccini off the top of my head.. but sometimes, our management seem to ignore players with real talent such as Cicinho, Tevez, Aguero, Alves.. i simply think that it is the price tag that scares us away and that really is something humiliating for a club as big as us and are backed by the richest man in Italy..

actually, Jose Mari, Rivaldo and colo didn't do badly at all but they wasn't meant to be the star players of the team. Vieri is the one that did actually play pretty bad here....but he was off form even before coming here.

Tevez and Aguero are just overpriced for their talents. Cicinho haven't show the kind of impact even as of now. Alves.....let's wait and see.

Milan has always been in the top becouse we choose our players wisely. For example, C.Ronaldo - he is thje most overpriced player in the world. completely useless, look at his wrong passes, unnecessary touches, dribblings and so on... Milan is choosing players that can have an impact NOW. Players with experience and power and BRAINS. Yes, our team is a bit too old right now, but with signings of Oddo (30), Gallas (28) and maybe Zambrotta ( 28 ), we will again have the best and most reliable defence in the world. There is no space for many young players in Milan simply becouse we always have BETTER solutions at the moment. And we'll always keep having experienced players that can win it in the last seconds and always be on the top. Few refreshments are badly needed, but not more. Right now Pippo is 30-35% stronger and better player than Torres, and that is what Milan needs. we dont need Alves as we'll get Oddo who can work well for 2 next years and has a LOT of experience for serie a.

I don;t think Messi has made a big an impact on the Spanish league as Kaka on the Italian. Kaka was fundmental for our success in 0304 season, and has been on a top level ever since.

Without Messi Barca would still have been league champions.

The media have created an icon, because in Spain it's either Madrid or Barca they deal with.
In Italy there is Milan, Inter, Juve, Roma, and player from these could be the next big thing.

ok true, but messi was out injured for a large part of the season aswell, what i meant by my statement was that he proved himself even in his first season the same way kaka has, ronaldo still didnt and hes been there for like 3 years now

Well, I beg to disagree: why not pick young aces that can made an immediate impat, like Rooney, Messi, Agüero and your beloved Kaká?

The 19-year-old has been linked with the Rossoneri who are ready to pay up to around £2.5m for the youngster.

And now Rennes have confirmed that the French playmaker is a summer transfer target for the San Siro outfit.

"With regard to Yoann, we had the ambition to keep him here for a long time and to make him a symbol of the club and the public," chief Emmanuel Cueff told the club's official website.

"We received an official proposal from Milan and we are studying with them the possibility of a one-year loan after the immediate transfer."

So...that is written that will be done......and now who is the striker Milan will bid for?????
This is more crucial and important issue than Gourcuff....
I`m very happy to hear this!!!!! I hope he is almost ours! I think the striker could be F.Torres-not bad!

Of course... if the player is really good, it's simply RIDICULOUS to loan him instead of playing him instantly.
