Nice to read you again Gio! And thank you for the updates on the training. All I 've seen are pictures from Getty, but hearing that they are focused and getting a lot of attention in these last few days in Japan gives me much hope for the competition.

In these days i've had a non expected bless: checking on the sky channels (which include milan channel as well, at least in italy) i've got a surprise: normally i don't get milan channel (which has to be paid separetely)...the cost for the monthly broadcasting is low- 7- 8 euros- but knowing how addictive it can be, i chose not to get that, in order not to compromise my studies
Well, last night i checked the channel and i saw they gave me a free access to milan channel as promotion.

I've told you this not because i want to rub it in, but because in the last days i've got to see the guys' trainings, and they are damn focused!!! The players are calm but concentrated and they've got a lot of time to do technical trainings, which was something they didn't do for such a long period since a while ( you know, playing every 3 days and with NT matches in the middle ...). Therefore, we have all the credentials and the premises to do well.

And remember, we are Milan. We are born for such stages, in front of the world. As my signature says:

It's quite funny because the official site just had a headline saying "Ronaldo is back!!". When oh when will this guy actually play to earn his wages ?

Boca seemed a bit lacklustre today. I expected a bit more from them, esp technicallywise. In fact they don't have great ball possession, compared to Southern American standard. Etoile could have easily equalised, if they weren't a very naive team.

I can't say at this point I care about Boca, we have business to take care of tomorrow against the Japanese side Urawa Reds, who aren't pushovers. Technically we face a good side, quick and a lot of movement, which could disrupt us if we're unprepared. Washington is the main dangerman in the side, but a few players coming from midfield must be watched too.

No doubt I expect a win, I want that final against Boca! We had some business to deal with back in May with Liverpool, now we have some business to deal with Boca after what happened in 2003!

Yesterday i heard that Japan is the only place where Milan has never booked a reserved hall for breakfasts and lunches. They said that in Japan accommodation is amazingly expensive and booking an entire area of the hotel would have costed too much...very strange, considering we are the 5th richest club in the world
