Normally I'd feel charged up when we're being presented a chance like this but then again I felt the same against MU and Parma and we all know what happened, so I'd better calm down.

Now, several sites suggest us play Seedorf-Bori-Klaas up front. But I think it's better to play 4-3-1-2 with Seedorf as a trequartista. IMO he doesn't have Dinho's instinct to send in other-worldly assist, but his one-two touch and through ball are still of top level. Klaas likes to play like this too.

We're given a second chance now. It doesn't happen everyday so let's make the most of it.

Forza Milan!

I don't know the way you wrote this rethoric question, but I will reply this way: since the start of the season ... we were at -10 (don't remember how high was the gap beween both teams at its maximum) and we're at -4 and possibly -1 again, that means we managed to take several times our chance when Inter lost/drawed.

The last time Inter lost, we won our game then ...

Which has to be noticed is that it's the second game in a row that Inter loses just before the CL game.

Better, here are the statistics of Inter before their CL games: 4-1-3, and now 4-1-4 ... Their 4 wins were during the group stage, since it's round robin, they drawed once and lost twice (0-1-2).

Before their second game against CSKA Moscow, they will play against Bologna so I don't expect another loss or a draw from them there. But if they qualify, they will play before the first leg of their semi-final against Juventus, and then Atalanta.

My point is that they could lose some points again, especially with the games becoming more and more important in CL.

Oh, and for the "always crying" people, our "pathetic" team lost 5 games this season in Serie A, but the "so strong Inter" lost 4 times ...

Inter are not very strong. Any good team with determination can get good result from them. Next match against CSKA will be hard for them.

Mourinho called the press silence again

in Nesta, Pirlo, Pato, & Dinho, we have 4 of our indisputable starters and actually 4 of the top 6 of our best performers this season (including Thiago & Ambro) missing...not to mention the other missing players...

with all these absences, one thing i know, when we win tomorrow, and i know we will, no one will have the right to doubt our players' hunger & desire or say we do not deserve winning the title this season...

IMO, what we need 2moro isn't creativity. No, what we need 2moro is ruthless finishing ........ and luck. lots of luck!

Ah Geo! Combien j'aime tes stats. Keep them coming!
About the "always crying" people, it's -4 (possibly -1)… that itself should show that result wise, our "pathetic" team is not so far off.

We really have to show our hunger tomorrow, its the Scudetto we are talking about. And a victory should be possible, provided we are hungry for it. If our midfielders run like there is no tomorrow (shouldn't be too much to ask for from Flamini, Ambro and Abate), we can at least keep Lazio in check. And as long as Seedorf creates one or two chances, which he will, Klaas and Borri just have to finalize them. If Seedorf is up to the challenge, plays one of his classic "once-every-ten-games" match, then we might expect some more magic. Not too optimistic about this though. This should be possible.

Actually, I was curious, just after their loss tonight, to see their results before their CL games (it would be interesting to look at their results after too ... I'll do it later). I really didn't know I would find such results !! And they gave me even more optimism.

EDIT: It's not as good, after a CL game, here are their statistics ... 5-3-0 (group stage: 4-2-0, round robin: 1-1-0)

The problem now (but that also helps us as Inter has so much pressure now) is that Roma is probably going to end this championship like a bullet ...

Depending on our result tomorrow, my bet is that Inter is going to end 3rd of Serie A ...

About our formation, am I the only one to think Leonardo is going to reserve us some kind of surprise ?? Like Verdi for example (one assist if he plays !! ) ?? Or Zigoni at the end of the game (one goal if he plays !! ) ??

1st - Inter (63 pts) +1
2nd - Roma (62 pts) +1
3rd - Milan (59 pts)
4th - Palermo (51 pts) +1
5th - Sampdoria (47 pts)
6th - Napoli (45 pts)
7th - Juventus (45 pts)
8th - Genoa (43 pts)
9th - Bari (42 pts)
10th - Parma (41 pts)
11th - Fiorentina (41 pts)
12th - Cagliari (39 pts)

27/03/10 - 18:00
Roma 2-1 Inter (FT)

27/03/10 - 20:45
Palermo 3-1 Bologna (FT)

28/03/10 - 15:00
Fiorentina - Udinese
Siena - Genoa
Napoli - Catania
Sampdoria - Cagliari
Juventus - Atalanta
Livorno - Bari
Chievo - Parma

28/03/10 - 20:45
Milan - Lazio

So tomorrow afternoon, all teams wanting to qualify for CL will have a lot of pressure (after the win of Palermo).

And tomorrow evening, it will be our turn to show what we're made of !! The Laziale probably think they can beat us, especially with all our missing players, and after their two wins in a row, but we did well in San Siro this season (10-3-2 vs 3-6-6 away for Lazio). They should think about these numbers ... They never lie !!

I tip for Verdi. His position is a bit easier to make us happy (either goal, assist or at least good performance in some minutes). If we can lead in early minute, Verdi will be very useful IMO since he is pretty fast (from what info I read).

People be serious, it's childish to think that we still can win Scudetto. Please.

And anyway, what did we do to deserve it?! A ****ty wins by one goal difference against weak teams?! If any team deserved to win this Scudetto, apart of Inter, it's Roma. Period.

The team who deserves to win the Serie A is the one who has most points. In the League there is no point for good, bad and average performance, 1-0 or 10-0 wins etc. There are only win, draw or lose.

why don't we deserve it?
and name me one Italian team that wins each game by many goals?

the question isn't if we deserve it or not
the question is can the current set of players grind it out...
... with some luck, lots of work and a little miracle it's possible
