iregk is an unknown quantity at this point
In his last contract extention they wrote into it 11 million buy out clause, convientiently the figure touted by Milan and Juve last summer!!!

So if Milan want him and I sure hope we get him, they will have to up from 6 - 11 million. Great deal though, we need some top class on the left.

Hi guys, I am new in this forum looks like this milanmania.com is going to take a little more time to get used to. Goal.com was all very simple.
I am happy with the news about Jankulovski, he is the type of player we need at Milan. He is very versatile and can even play in Kaka's position if needs be.

Good news. I always liked this player. It looks like some of the current rossoneri squad will be saying goodbye for sure now at the end of the season - probably rui costa and/or serginho and/or ambrosini.

Jankulovski heading for Milan
Friday 14 January, 2005
Udinese midfielder Marek Jankulovski has reportedly agreed a £6m transfer to champions Milan.

An agreement has allegedly been struck between Rossoneri chief Adriano Galliani and Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo.

The Czech international, who has yet to officially sign, will finish this season at the Stadio Friuli before moving to the San Siro.

Milan are understood to have offered him a four-year deal which will see his salary rise to around £1m a season.

Rossoneri fans will get a close look at Jankulovksi, who was also linked with Juventus and Inter, at the weekend when Udinese arrive in Serie A.

In other transfer news, Roma and Juve are engaged in a tug of war over Vicenza’s Massimo Bonanni.

The capital side co-own the midfielder but the Bianconeri have recently made an offer for the player.

"I met with Roma sporting director Franco Baldini a few days ago and he said he doesn’t want Bonanni to be sold this January," stated Vicenza director general Sergio Gasparin.

"This probably means that nothing will happen before June. Juventus? We haven’t sold our share in Bonanni to them."

yeah €8m (£6m), he's a great signing (same price as Kaka ).

I'm still wondering where he'll play, but I'm starting to think Seedorf's role is under threat

I think what will happen is next season Stam will occupy the right back position and Jankulovski will play left back. Much like this years system except instead of our right back (cafu) being the attacking wing back Marek will attack from the left.

I think seedorf's roll will be under threat but from someone else we'll bring in. Whilst he's very good, I think he's defiently too inconsistent and brining in some other option would not cost to much (emre, emre, emre)

Here below you can see this news. Looks like a verbal agreement is reached between Galliani and Pozzo.

Milan, Jankulovski in rossonero per 8,5 milioni: accordo fatto
Ven 14 Gen, 11:28 AM

Milan, rinforzi in difesa: occhi puntati su Kuffour e Trabelsi
Ven 14 Gen, 10:33 AM

Meazza, Stam will not play at RB man. No way. Ancelotti already said this. Stam is too old to play that position at AC Milan. Cafu is only playing there still because he is a league of his own.

Milan are signing Cassetti from Lecce to add cover to the RB position. He is expected to arrive now not at the end of the season. Mesto is then supposed to be joining us in the summer (Ancelotti wants to change him to a RB/RWB, currently he is a RM but covers well).

It looks as though Jankulovski arriving means 'NO' Solari. We cant have both of them.

I dont think Seedorf's place is under threat as such, but Dhorasoo did deserve a chance to show what he can do and I hope this makes Seedorf work a little harder. Because when he can be bothered he is great.

Jankulovski will play left back, Seedorf's role isn't under threat IMO, and Cafu will play right back

Stam, Nesta and Maldini will play centrally, and one will take rest while the other will play.

Jankulovski will be turned into a left back a la Zambrotta, and he has already palyed in that role so no problems
