Inter - Man United

In the first half Manchester United were in full control passing the ball around quickly creating good chances against an Inter side that looked nervous and unfocused. Slowly they got their grit together and made it an even match again. Mostly during the second half it must be said.

It was nice to see a good game on a high level with two sides determined to play good football. I was impressed again with the English side's abilitity to shut down the spaces and attack with intelligence.

Inter were as always tight in defence despite of their shaky start to the game. In attack they did their best but created only few chances.

There only way now football can make me feel happy this season is to see all the 4 English clubs lose and Juve-Inter play the UCL final, because thats the only way I could see an Inter slip up a nd ACM winning the Scudetto

That would be awesome but I wouldn't exactly mind to see all the 4 english clubs lose with Internazionale Merda and Real Merda losing in the next round.

Predictions, wishes, everything post them here! I wish Inter and Man-U could knock each other out...but since that's not possible I prefer Inter win than Man-U. Won't be able to stand the C.Ronaldo fanboys for too long. Inter would probably get eliminated next round anyway .

Well, Juventus is near the end in this CL (1-1 and Chelsea seems to control the game now whereas they were totally dominated in the first half) ... and Madrid is already out.

I was optimistic after the goal of Juventus that tonight, we could have one English team eliminated, but now ...

As well as Liverpool-Real was like Fifa !!

PS: 2/2 for England ... let's hope for a 2/4 but I have no faith in Inter and Roma for tomorrow.

I was thinking in Europe level you cant have crazy score like Muenchen did. Because most of clubs are in the same level or not too far behind..But its happened The beauty of football I guess Anyway.. waiting Sir Alex to kick Merda ass tonight. I read that Inter will be without Samuel, Chivu, Burdisso, and Materazzi. It's very danger too have so much space in defense area. But I think Jose has good record when he met Sir Alex. From 13 matches with Sir Alex (combined when he was Chelsea manager and Porto manager) he just lost 1. And history says that he beat Sir Alex's squad in CL final with Porto 5 years ago and became the champion of Europe. But hell this time will be in Old Trafford.. everthing will be different

If Inter qualifies, I want Roma to qualify too ... if Roma qualifies, I don't care about Inter ... yes, you read it, I want Italian clubs to qualify, but I don't want Inter to be the only Italian club qualified !!

(the best situation would be Inter and Roma anyway)

Come On Bayern Munich

Hates off to the UEFA Champions League Winners of 2008-2009

You make me feel proud in the absence of my AC Milan and as I said some days ago, the Best attacking combination of the world.
Feel bad for Juve though, but as I predicted, Frank Lampard made the difference with the unstoppable long range shoot to which even the great Buffon had no answer. Yea Essien will get the headlines for his comeback and goal, but it was Frank which kicked out Juve

& as for Real Madrid, well thank God I am not a Real fan, other wise I would have wanted the earth to swallow me after what happened last night. If you guys think Inter is the joke of Europe, think again because Real is catching them fast

Bayern Munich

Villareal

Chelsea

Liverpool

Juventus

Real Madrid

Sporting Lisbon

Panathinaikos

??
The ball was touched by a defender, it's why Buffon couldn't stop it ...
