UCL SF 2nd leg : Milan-Manchester Utd.

I couldn't bring myself to post in the 1st leg thread, many of you know why...I hope we can all stay civil in this one. And keep those wonderful, smart posts coming.

Mrki, are we both going on the greasy HAIR-WATCH again? I'm starting to beleive in my theory of 20 percent of the game depending on the awesomnness of our hairstyling. Gila was absent in the game...because he's shaved it all off. Silly Alberto. Maldini was subbed at half time, off went the legendary hair...in came Rooney's double. Ricardo had great hair and thus, had a great...no, absolutely breathtaking touch. Nesta? Half of his tackles should be credited to his long locks. The Original Ronnie's getting better and better, because he's growing his out. Rino? His FACIAL HAIR is like another set of legs.

See what I mean ppl? I don't have the brain to analyse and talk about tactics, but I do know what a reasonable dollop of styling mousse and a good hairband can do for a team. So I'm hoping the San Siro hairdryers are working properly on Wednesday.

I hope we've learned about this horrible weakness of being unable to maintain leads. We keep learning the same lesson over and over again, and now it's time to take the game to United. They played fantastic, and now at home, on our own turf..we need to do the same. Istanbul sucked, yeah it hurts, so SHAKE IT OFF. It's been almost two years. Let's kill the ghosts once and for all so I never have to hear another fan or player moan about it. I have faith in THIS team...in Dida not Buffon, in Ricky, Seedorf and Pirlo not Ronaldinho, or whoever else we should have bought. I'm not living on the dream of next year's UCL with Ronaldo, but the present. Forza Milan and Forza Ragazzi! Every single one of them, yes...even the medical staff.

Haha CC, I think you're on to something with the hair...alternatively, what do you make of Man Utd players' hair? I don't think much to Fake Ronaldo's cut, Scholes is ginger, Van Der Sar is very plain, Wes Brown has weird coloured hair...add Gary Neville, aside from looking like T-bag from Prison Break, hardly has an inspiring hair cut...Rooney also, very plain. Ryan Giggs has some good chest hair - remember seeing that after his fantastic goal against Arsenal a few years back? Surely worth an extra yard or two of pace...Carrick, very plain....

You're right about Ista****. We need to put it out of our minds, but I think in order for us to do this, we need some success. We've not won anything since then, so it will fester. Hopefully we can win the CL and put all the ghosts to bed.

True, a lot of Utd have very plain boring styles, probably because Fergies famous hairdryer treatment isnt so bad if you've got a crewcut! Heinze is the obvious exception, he is such a tough guy that he probably enjoys it when Fergie throws teacups at them and then there's the other nutcase, Alan Smith, who looks a bit like someone from Clockwork Orange, in fact we are probably saving him for the second leg in case we need a bit of the old 'ultra violence'

Good to see this thread has a bit more of a mutual respect theme, not sure it'll still be so friendly next wednesday though

Cristiano's hair does not bother me, it has no power over defenders it seems...it's just his over-waxed eyebrows. I think he's better off tweezing. Giggs is...yeah, I see where he gets his skillz. But am not going to go into discussion about Rooney's chest hair...there's only so much a girl can stomach. Let's be kind to other memebers of MM as well.

Your right. It's inevitable that emotions get outta hand during these things, but I if we run riot on Wednesday...I hope it's for all the RIGHT reasons.

Milan can make it i think. ancelotti shouldnt play with one attacker, he should include inzaghi alongside gila...janko and oddo also need to attack more on the flanks...

I don't see that. Berlu stated that he's very happy with Dida, not to also mention that Dida did renew his contract.

I kinda have a feeling that Dida will make it up to us in the next game,
