I dont see Huntelaar as being too great of a buy. It is a necessary buy, yes: we needed a new forward. We'll be playing with Ronaldinho & Pato and a CF. We now have Borriello and Pippo (who can play very few games.. but when he does should be a starter). If the HUntelaar deal is true, we finally have three quality, or at least acceptable quality, CF's who can at least assure there is always someone there for that role.

If Huntelaar is better than Luis Fabiano (which Leonardo doesnt think) I dunno. But neither of the two would really add any difference to our game. Dzeko could potentially have been the CF to add more alternatives to our playing style (he was Leonardo's n. 1 choice, I think). The problem is that he is not at all established and had one good year. Possibly next year, if he keeps up the good work esp. in the CL, we could look to get him next year. Pippo will be able to play even less games than he does now, so I dont think we would have a superfluous amount of players in the CF role.

The next allarming point of our team is a quality fullback. Maybe De Silvestri, who I would definately trade for Oddo. It might be difficult since De Silvestri probably has a higher value but also a wage which is a fraction of Oddo's. We would have to put in some cash, which we might not have.

Ideally, I would also see the need for a creative midfielder, possibly offensive. Our midfield right now lacks creativity apart from Pirlo. In the AMC we lack a sub for Ronaldinho - who we dont even know if he will perform to our needs. Then also, another quality FB... in our team I'd like Zambro + a LB and RB to toggle around with. But this is maybe too much to hope for, I doubt we will even see anyone apart from Huntelaar. Possibly next year, or in January.

Huntelaar has pretty big teeth. This concerns me because he is yet to go through a medical.

Other than that, if we are really going to sign him he is in my opinion the best option. Im sick of seeing Milan not shoot for 30 minutes. He will shoot and when he shoots he will score. He is no Kezman who scored only 4 goals in his 25 Chelsea apperances, where as Huntelaar scored 8 goals in 20 games for Real and has scored almost as many international goals as Kezman in less than half the games that Kezman played. If we are really buying him then he will be our Torres.

BUT we still need another defender. If we signed Santacrocce I wouldnt even care if we didnt sign another player until next summer. (Assuming we are really buying Huntelaar too)

Didn't mean to be rude or anything.

Sorry about the norwegian link. Anyway, it roughly says that it's a 978 kilometres drive from Barcelona to Milan. According to maps.google.com it should take about 9 hours and 15 minutes.

Even though I'm from Norway I've actually driven from Marseille to Tuscany (pretty much follows more or less parts of the route from Barcelona to Milan) which is a much shorter distance and I can guarantee you that it took more than a couple of hours.

A flight from Barcelona to Milan takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Hunter will be a great by for us. Pato and Him with Dinho in the back. Thats not bad at all.

Now we need Snjider, to give good supply to Hunter. We stll need couple more player for depth. Our bench sucks.

our bench isnt that bad... we have Inzaghi, Boriello, Abate, Seedorf, Ambro, Janku?, Bonera... its not the best ever, but it could be much worse. i would still like a few more players

Funny to see people cheering up and having the guts to talk about a extra midfielder like Sneijder.....Berlu only said that a extra forward would come, and he said it like it was a attacker worth 4O million..his trick isnt working for me he has let us live in misery

Only a Fullback(Bale/De Silvestri)will come together with Hunter, and then mercato fun is over.Do you really have hope MGT will sign anyone else

haha hope yes, expect not as much. I would like a quality LB, and maybe a player like Hernandes, but that would be great.

Its funny how people take Hunter as the replacement for Inzaghi, Thiago Silva as the replacement for Maldini, and Hernanes as a POSSIBLE replacement for Pirlo.

I ask you this though: Who the hell replaces Kaka?

Kaka's replacement is Ronaldinho. He plays in the same position as Kaka.

Uh, not to burst your bubble, but then who's gonna replace Ronaldinho on the left flank?

The replacement list goes on....
