On last nights Italian Soccer FanAtics Show here in Canada...They were commenting on the Juve media strike as well, saying that what they will end up doing is hopefully realize that they are not unnecessarily critisized or penalized. That their suspensions are comparable to those of other teams for similar situations. Let's face it...is Juve ever gonna realize anything that is NOT in their favour. Oh and btw......they were favouring Milan to win next Sunday !!!!!!

Even if we win they will complain about zlatan being suspended.

I agree and have always said Seedorf is important for our system. On the whole he is a great player and usually plays well when we need a performance from him. However, no one can deny he goes through more bad phases then our other players. Sometimes, like against Fiorentina, he gives the ball to the opposition more than his own players. I still wouldnt replace him with very many players though, because as you said hes vital for the ststem we employ.

You don'thave to go years back in time to find examples of controversial referee decisions handing Juve not just games but titles, as well. In fact, it is hard to remember a game from this current season where Juve didn't get at least one very important present from an Italian official. Also just check the statistics on www.gazzetta.it and tell me how many penalty kicks have Juve been awarded for them and how many against them - for the former I have lost count a long time ago, as for the latter the answer is one big fat 0. How about red cards, disallowed regular goals for Juve's opponents and so on and on ... Compare t to the same info regarding Milan and you will get the picture.
To tell you the truth, fair victories for Juve are such a rare thing that whenever it happens I throwing a party. All these anti-Juve conspiracy allegations can only make Serie A fans laugh at how pathetic Juve can get.

Get your facts straight.

Two weekends ago against Lecce there was a penalty awarded against us. And have you ever thought that we have two of the best tacklers in the game in central defense? Surely that is a big difference.

Brescia 3-0
Atalanta 2-0
Sampdoria 3-0
Udinese 1-0
Messina 2-1
Siena 3-0
Roma 2-0
Chievo 3-0
Fiorentina 1-0
Lecce 1-0
Lazio 2-1
Livorno 4-2
Brescia 2-0
Atalanta 2-1
Udinese 2-1
Siena 3-0
Roma 2-1
Reggina 1-0
Lecce 5-2
Bologna 2-1

Matches referees influenced for or against Juve:

Palermo 1-1
Reggina 1-2 Loss for us, good goals by Juve disallowed
Bologna 1-0
Milan 0-0
Cagliari 1-1
Udinese 2-1
Chievo 1-0 (Pellisier goal indeed crossed the line)

So it's not as rare as you're telling everybody.

also roma-juve(1-2) was effected by reffs.
both juves goals shouldnt have counted:- a penalty given - the foul was outside penalty area though. and the other on double offside.

by the way- isnt the PsV game before the juve game? why a thread on this game before the PsV match?

In the first half one Roma player should have been sent off and Roma was wrongly awarded a free kick that stopped our attack and led to the Cassano goal. We also had a goal disallowed in the second half that should have stood. Both teams were affected that night and we deserved the win in the end.

Wow, one whole penalty given vs Juve in a game they were winning anyway. And this is in one out of 34 games? Well, I guess this does prove my point wrong.
Oh, and don't forget that our defence is actually stronger than Juve's and last time I chekced Milan has received almost as many PKs as have been given against - "slightly" less popular with referees than Juve is, I guess.
Plus a penalty is not a penalty unless the referee says it is no matter how untimely the tackle is. Referee bias and not strong defence is what you should attribute the lack penalties being given vs Juve to.
And in many of those games you pointed out as pure Juve victories, there was controversy although a result of 3-0 may say otherwise. I clearly remember the Samp-Juve game in Genua had some very interesting moments to offer. There are others like it too but there have been so many of them over the season that I don't even bother paying attention anymore and tend to just take it as a given.

Have you watched us play this season? We play a straight 4-4-2 to close down the middle of the pitch, with Emerson and Blasi doing the work to stop the opposition before it reaches our defense. We basically create a shield in front of the defense, so it is very difficult for attackers to rush through in on goal, the main scenario where penalties come from. Milan plays with more posession and does not always shutdown the center of the pitch completely, and they also are subject to many counterattacks because of the copius amounts of posession they usually have. Milan does have the stonger defense in terms of individual talent, while Juve stacks more players in front of the defense to protect it. So with players not being able to run at our defenders that much it would certainly cut back on penalties awarded.

And that was not a penalty last week against Lazio. Any unbiased neutral will tell you that.

I miss the days when Milan used to press the opposition ... there always seems to be too much room for opponents at the moment.

That's one thing we can't allow Juventus, especially Nedved and Camro on the flanks. We need to also hope our players find some rest from somewhere, otherwise they'll just be exhausted.

i agree jamie, the best milan where in the period when we beat inter 3-2, then juve 3-1, then parma 3-1 and sparta 4-1 and depor 4-1 ... it stopped when we were knocked out of the CL in that terrible evening..

As i've said before, juve is giving their all this season.
Last season when they werent in the title race, refs didn't do anything for juve. Becouse there was no need to, this year they stole at least 6-7 games. That is why de desperately need to beat them on sunday and show how pathetic they are. And don't let juve fans bother you, let it go. St. Moggi will do everything next year to beat us and they will be showing off how juve is the biggest and so and so.... Anyway, lets kick some ass on sunday with sheva scoring again... Forza Milan !!!

With all due respect this thread needs to be LOCKED until the semi-final is over. I find it deeply disturbing that we play our biggest game of the season so far in the next 48 hours and yet a game that is coming later is getting more attention!!! We have a 2-0 lead but that doesn't mean we are guaranteed to Istanbul. It's a UCL semi-final deciding leg! History awaits! Respect a semi-final people. Worry about the Gobbi after that!

Thank You.

In a few days I will be leaving for Europe where my final destination will be Milan to watch the game on Sunday.

Thus, if we don't speak ... FORZA MILAN!! First kick some PSV-arse then put Juve out of their misery ..

While in Milan I will also be meeting up with the infamous Giovanni of MM and maybe Franco

(I'll be sure to keep a journal!! )

Time to HUNT SOME JUVENTINI
