His agent said that the negotiations, official negotiation, are under way and a deal can be reach today for 8 mill.

While a lot of fans here might think he is too young, etc etc... the fact is, out of the million or so forwards in Brazil, and the half a million playing elsewhere in the world, Dunga chose him to play for Brazil, not once, but twice...so he must be talented, and probably talented enough for Milan.

I would hope that his aquisition doesnt preclude Tevez joining us...

for this kind of money, I would get him in a heartbeat as we could afford to buy him now and loan him out to gain some experience ... of course, there is also the posibility that carlo might want him to stay.

Milan should make a bill for Fernandao too, he's definetily more cheap than Rafael.

pretty much, for Kaka was 8.5 mil euros, I think. What surprises me is how little Inter would get from this deal. I am guessing a lot of money would go to his agents, who might own part of his footballing rights, and maybe his previous club in Brazil, was it Corinthians? Not sure.

Rafael is a grown of Internacional, just like Daniel Carvalho and Nilmar. Corinthians got him on Loan once, but he did not good, was too young, so he get back to Internacional.

Well, the fact is Kaka wasn't exactly the biggest name in Brazil before he came too. Milan make him into one of the best player in the world currently. How many of those great names eventually make it in the end? We need a player with good potential but most importantly with the correct attitude, that's all.
