I read that galliani said Milan would for sure not pay that 5 million, it would be either Samp paying or Real forfeiting the money; then Real Madrid said they are sure that they can work on it.

So is what you described (that Milan and Samp have co-pay that 5 million) the latest development?

Yeah thats what I read on Football-Italia.net and Goal.com...that they will split the money between but now it's being reported that Cass and Samp will pay the money and Cass could sign 2moro.Don't know how that will work seing as the window is closed until Jan 1st , maybe they'll just have thing's in place .

His contract was not rescinded. They only ordered to halve his salary.

While it is not official, it seems like it's pretty much done.
Antonio Cassano will wear #99 for AC Milan. The deal will be for 3 1/2 years @ €3Million/year.

This is a good deal for following reasons:
1. Cassano is better (currently) than Ronaldinho, and he is a lot cheaper. We will net €6 Million annually by selling Dinho and signing Cassano.
2. Cassano's market value has to be between €15-20 Million. We are buying him from anywhere between €0 and €2.5 Million. If he doesn't fit, we can sell him for a €15Million profit at minimum.

This is NOT a good deal for following reasons:
1. We have 2 'Second Strikers' in Robinho and Ibrahimovic and Cassano is not what we need when we have issues in other parts of the team.
2. Cassano is a nutso, and has proven this many times

Now, Pirlo is out 4 weeks. Ronaldinho is finished. Seedorf is finished.

We cannot ask Ibrahimovic to be the creator and scorer for the next month or two alone. We NEED an ACM immediately. Ganso supposedly won't be ready as he's been out of action since September I believe. Either Cassano plays as trequartista or we get Honda. Ganso for me is my number 1 choice, but we lack creativity NOW. Everyone saw what happened in the Roma game when Pirlo went off.

Personally an ACM is the number 1 priority for us right now.

Transfer policy in order of priority for ACM

1. ACM/trequartista (Ganso, Honda, Cassano??)
2. FullBack (LB) (Coentrao)
3. Center Back (D. Luiz)
4. CM (to replace Pirlo/Seedorf/Rino/Ambro) (Jucilei, Lazzari, promotion of Strasser and Merkel)
5. Striker: Penalty Box to replace Inzaghi (Matri, Acquafresca, Roque Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Verdi, Adiyiah)
