Comparing two players in the same team is not an exact science. Although I like very much the potential of Dhorasso, he has still to prove himself as a defensive, tough midfielder and someone who gives 120% - you guessed it, Gattuso.

On top of it, Gattuso is a team leader, an inspiration and has pretty good offensive runs on the right side. Last year, his passing and techique has improved and we can expect more progess out of him. He is part of Milan's "spine", and except occasionally, must be a first team player. Milan won trophies in the past two years thanks to his contributions. Any talk of substituting him is not a valid option. As long as he is healthy, he should be automatically penciled in the formation.

Unfortunately, he is one of those who still misses a lot of simple passes in the team.
