Doesn't make a difference does it. We'll still beat them to it .

I for one hope Real make it through, so we can have them for themselves. And our road to the champion's league will be sprawled with glittering victims or glorious teams. Even better if it's in the final. Anywayz, Real will surely be out for blood since Juve beat them the last time. But it's going to be really hard since Capello is in charge and his men are more solid then ever.

well I think milan vc manunited is hard game but I wish milan
will win . this is been aweek since I was warry that we meet man united
not because I'm afarid they won (no way) but because I want
to face man in smi finel or finel . I wanted milan to face porto- real
in round 16 . best luck to milan to win and also juve to beat real (forget serie
A when we are against juve)

anyway here is reaction about champion league draw

Inter are delighted by the prospect of facing Porto, but Juventus and Milan are disappointed with their Champions’ League opponents.

Juventus will play the mighty Real Madrid, while the Italian champions face a tricky tie against Manchester United.

"It is a classic of the modern game," stated Turin boss Fabio Capello. "It is even more stimulating for me when you consider that I worked there in the past.

"Real are a difficult team to play against and although all the clubs remaining are tough, we were hoping for a kinder draw."

But are Real the force they once were? "Their form has varied recently but who knows what shape they will be in come February," noted the tactician.

Key midfielder Emerson, who rejected a summer switch to Madrid, is looking forward to the game.

"It won’t be easy but if you want to win this competition then you must play the big teams at one stage," stated the Brazilian.

Milan will return to Old Trafford, the arena which saw them lift the trophy in 2003 against Juventus.

"It has brought us luck in the past but I would have preferred a different opponent," admitted boss Carlo Ancelotti.

"United have a complete squad and are a very strong side. They also have a manager in Ferguson who has won it all."

City rivals Inter will be confident of reaching the last eight after being paired with reigning champions Porto.

"We’re happy that we avoided the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona," stated Coach Roberto Mancini.

"But not a lot changes to be honest as Porto won the trophy last season. They are a great side and it should be an entertaining match."

Captain Javier Zanetti added: "I expect it to be tough at this stage of the competition. We shouldn’t underestimate anybody."

I've been waiting for this game for a very long time! And I know on that day itself, I will be the only one who will be rooting for Milan while watching it on the big screen by the sidewalk cafes among the Man Utd's fanatics. The place where I live is a MU-mad territory.

But on February 22nd, I'd say to them: BRING ON MANCHESTER UTD!

Hi, I'm a manchester united supporter. I'll try and answer any questions that you have.

First off: tickets. You'll get an allocation of around 3,500 (it depends on police reports on your team. Of your fans have a history of being violent you'll get less. These tickets will cost around 40euro's. You sit in one of the corners of the stadium, opposite the stretford end. I'd imagine tickets from the black market would be around £150, you shouldn't pay anymore. But these will be with the united supporters. It's very rare that the touts have tickets for away supporters. If you are found to be supporting the away team (whilst sitting in the home end) you get chucked out. I've seen it happen often.

There are lots of hotels near the stadium, but these tend to be more expensive. I would reccomend the "travel inn" in the city center (the ground is only 5 minutes away on the metro) Rooms cost around 80euros a night.

I was hoping some of you would know how to get tickets for the game in italy. How much do your official tickets cost and how much would it cost from the black market? Please help!!!

CONFIDENCE AND SERENITY

Milan will meet Manchester United for the first knock-out round of the Champions League. Carlo Ancelotti commented: ’If we want to win the Cup, we have to face and beat certain teams.’ In the Turin clash against Juventus, instead, the Rossoneri will meet either Marcelo Zalayeta or Alex Del Piero. The Milan coach replied: ’We have the right defenders to face both.’
These were some of the answers Ancelotti gave in his usual pre-match press conference on the eve of Juve-Milan. The coach of the Italian champions proved to be cold and unflappable, projecting his confidence in the team's value - they will be ready for any challenge. The one with Juventus is approaching and Manchester is close in the future. Milan know they are in the best form to win each game, the mood and the fitness of the players make the atmosphere at the club calm, with no reason for alarm. Focusing on the Delle Alpi trip, Ancelotti added: ’It is not a crucial game, it can just pave the way for the title march, but I don’t think we must win at any cost, I just want to see a good Milan.’ Milan have appeared to be in better shape than Juventus in the last few games, both from a tactical and mental point of view. The secret to beating Fabio Capello’s men? ’To prepare for these games is easier than one thinks, the players don’t need to be further motivated,’ revealed the Milan coach. Moreover, with his final words it is obvious that the ability to remain calm is a virtue of the strong...

CARLO ANCELOTTI PRESS CONFERENCE

Milan have drawn Manchester United in the Champions League…
’A difficult draw, but it was to be expected. Manchester are a first-rate team, when they have all their players available, they are very strong. It is hard to say if it has been the most difficult draw we have ever had. A consolation for us is to return to a stadium that brought luck to the Rossoneri.’

Your history with Manchester?
’I have been unbeaten at Manchester both as a player and a coach. I remember a semi-finals 1-1 draw when I was in charge at Juventus.’

Inter were lucky…
’Porto seem to be inferior to Manchester, Real Madrid and Barcelona, but only on the paper.’

How are the team on the eve of the game with Juventus?
’We have had a calm week, we are ready for the clash.’

What do you think of Juventus?
’They are strong physically, confident in their potential and above all always concentrated. They are able to come off best in every situation.’

How will you mentally prepare for the game?
’From a mental point of view, we need to be confident and approach the game with no fear.’

Milan must win at any cost…
'We have no such duty, we just need to play very well.’

Juve-Milan is a crucial game for the title race?
’No, not decisive, it can just pave the way.’

Are Juventus facing a drop?
’Juve may be a bit tired, as they started the season very early due to the Champions League preliminaries, but this won’t affect the game.’

Could a defeat discourage the Bianconeri in their march?
’I don’t think a possible defeat could affect the morale of Fabio Capello’s men, they are cold and confident of their potential.’

How have you prepared for this game?
’To prepare for such games is easier than one thinks. We know everything about Juventus and the players do not need to be further motivated.’

What do you think of the Crespo-Shevchenko pair?
’They are a well-oiled pair, they just need to improve on some moves, but I think they are combining better game after game.’

What will be the tactical key of the match?
’We will have to hold possession and prevent them from being aggressive.’

Will you play a Christmas-tree system?
’It could be a solution, last season at Roma we did well in a similar game.’

Some indications about the line-up?
’The players are all in top form and, considering the importance of the game, there could be some changes in the last minutes…

Fergie Eagerly Anticipates Milan Test

Sir Alex Ferguson is relishing his side's Champions League last 16 clash with AC Milan, a team he regards highly under the stewardship of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Six-time European Cup winners Milan are among the most experienced teams in the competition, and ranked as one of the tournament favourites.

The United boss predicted earlier in the week that the Reds would draw the Italians, and his prophecy proved correct in Friday's draw in Nyon.

"I had a feeling we were going to get AC Milan," Sir Alex told ManUtd.com. "We've never played against them under my tenure and it should be a great tie."

United could have been handed a last 16 tie with Juventus, Inter Milan, Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen, but were drawn against the Rossoneri.

And, despite drawing the toughest of those five teams, Ferguson is looking forward to his first encounter with Milan.

"They have had a fantastic spell under Carlo Ancelotti's influence," he added. "They are a very experienced team, one of the most experienced in Europe. But we are really looking forward to it."

hi tappy. As with us, tickets for the away end will be bought through your club not ours. and as for the black market I'm not sure I've heard of prices around 75-100 euros for a derby game, but on this particular tie as it's a CL game, it could possibly be more. the face value is usually around 30-40 euros.
italians are usually portrayed as horrors to sit with though, and whilst this is a largely exagerrated idea hailing mainly from the two rome clubs i wouldn't think it too pleasant. (obviously some clubs have different relationships, a brescia fan would be far more welcome and an inter.)

Gary Neville faces Giggs and Ronaldo every day in training so its not like he's never seen a trick before he does have a very crude (but effective) way of stopping skillful players though, as Reyes found out recently

anyway, id think Kaka will be harassed more by Keane, or whoever plays alongside him.
