Just out of curiosity, who are the teams that Gila scored against? Are they teams like Crvenz Azcisd or Kdasm AS Masda ? It doesnt matter that he scored in UEFA cup, FFS i'd rather watch the Italian cup final rather than the UEFA cup final. Teams that participate there, especially in the early stages are absolutely ridiculous and are not even Serie B material. Dont give Gila credit for scoring against them. But in the other hand, if he scored against teams like Middlesborough, Seville, etc then thats a good job.

But still again, so what if he scored 23 goals 2 seasons in a row for the best league in the world? What matters is how hes performing now, and last season well done to him for chipping in +- 20 goals, but he still isnt showing his full potential. He is not helping the team. He always goes for the dive everytime he has the ball.

And for those of you think im lieing or exaggerating, I invite you all to watch the France game today where he will play against good defenders and just PLEASE look for urselves that he is ALWAYS goes for a dive and is almost useless against good defenders.

How would you know how Gila is going to to? Are you is prodoge' or something? But I agree Gila hasnt contributed his full potential to Milan yet. But he has something and it cant just go away. He must want to play well to regain his form

Ofcourse I may be wrong and Gila might put in a good performance, but I have never seen a good Gilardino play for all of last season except in 2 games. Milan 5-1 Udinese, and Italy 2-0 Germany. Im guessing todays game with France will just be another game for Gila.

You could be right, but maybe the new season marks a fresh start for Gilardino - especially that there is greater responsibilty on him now that sheva is gone

Well he just scored one of his goals. It was a set piece and he scored. Other than that, he didnt contribute to nething. He also was caught offside 3 times.

hitmannq8, I really don't see what's the point of being so harsh on Gila. Cassano, another forward for the Italians, did practically nothing. Italian is not doing well at all. Gila is not even receiving the ball and when he did, he kept the ball well. I seriously don't know what you are looking for here, and I find your harsh judgment to be quite unjust.

Cassano did nothing? everytime he had the ball, he served it back well or gave a good pass. He is playing great. Im not being harsh, this is my honest opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs. I really just think Gila is not a player for Milan's future.

sure; whenever it becomes "everyone is entitled to theirs", I'll just leave our argument here.

Cassano and Semioli have contributed absolitely nothing so far. Cassano playing great? Oh, for crying out load, if I didn;t know he started the game, I wouldnt know hes even on the field.
As for Grosso, he only contributes a great deal of erratic insecurity to the defence ... great move by Inter, definitely.
All in all, Italy is playing pretty badly, lacking gameplan and fitness all in one. Gila isnt even getting the ball and has been pretty good in the few occasions hes had so far ... actually, his goal is basically the only time Italy managed to put up together a meaningful attack beyond the center circle so to bash him and hail an invisible Cassano would mean to have something presonal vs Gila.

He is a Milan player so if you are a Milan supporter at least you need to have a little trust in him .. "Well he just scored one of his goals" what was that ? All those goals from last season , and when he sad that he will remain with Milan even if they would be relegated .. I'm wondering if you sad same things back then . We have to treat all Milan players same way , all of them give maximum but sometimes it's just not their day.
