well, at least the defense look better nowadays. and maldini look fit, i am so happy to see him back. i am quite sure we can do it against barca after seeing maldini, he give me such confidence.

Very good win after seeing Milan play with 60-70% at best vs a pretty defensive Inter side. We definitely had the Barca game on mind yet, we managed to get the 3 points, and deservedly so IMO, after JC kept Inter in the game on a couple of occasions in the 2nd half.
The one negative point of this game was Dida's performance, who made 3 indecisive interventions - 1 in 1st half, 2 towards the end of the game - and could have easily cost us the game after we had taken the lead. What worries me even more is that these mistakes may very well affect his confidence for the Barca game too. he has been shaky as of late, but after tonight's perfomance, he needs some serious work with a sports psychologist or something like that.

well, the second part of the above statement basically explains the first. This was by all means a professional win, we put in just enough effort to get the 3 points and nothing on top of that. Actually, even a draw would have been a good result for us - for 2nd place that is, not for the title race - but it's good to see us put some extra pressure on Juve for the scudetto.

I think after a corner kick for us, the ball was kicked away and Inter and Milan players in front of JC's goal started retreating. Seedorf, however, sent a hing ball behind the back of the Inter defence, Kakha was left completely alone in line with the defence, he chested down the ball, and from a semi-volley, shot down JC - the ball went straight through JC's hands but the shot was just too strong and from a close range ... the rest is history
