Number of post

Hey, what about displayed the number of post. Maybe between the 'Location' and 'Favorite Player'. Thanks.

That will cause stupid posts from other people.. why do you need to know the post amount?

yeah...sorry about that...but in the past people used to have one word posts just to increase their post number......i was very irritating...thus the reason we took it out..

plus...at the end of the day it's not about the number of posts that u have, more so it's about the quality...if u have 100 posts and they are of op quality , where u pose good questions , ideas or bring up good point to discuss...in all honestly we rather read that i view you more seriously than someone who cheif purpose is just to air political differences or use the forum for name calling ....

i'm a little dissappointed with the quality of threads and posts at mm recently and i'd just like to point out trini's words.

Our mods are too generous for letting some crappy posters (including me?) to stay longer here..

IMO the worst post was in "the game comments" threads, we posted just one word: Gooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!

Number of posts...you want it showing for all to see? Sorry, the answer has been and remains NO. We still have people posting one-liners, I'm sure we all do it from time to time, but a few years ago we had a small group of posters who did nothing but one liners all day every day only b/c they thought it made them look wonderful to have a high post total. Abuses like that led us to hide the count. As has been pointed out, quantity means nothing, we'd really prefer quality.

And once again someone complains about the "poor quality" of posts here. Well, that's everyone's problem to solve. Complaining about it does nothing, sorry. It's action by all members that will solve that one.

Jeff, we debated banning, but banning people for one-liners seemed almost too hardline. The whining goes on even if we DO win!

haha, yea. Well, I think it is understandable to have mostly one lines in game threads, after all few will feel like writing an essay for each move Milan makes

as for the post number, it is better that they don't appear under our names anymore....and there is no harm there, afterall, whoever wants to find out his'/her's, can still do it.

, why not ban all moderators to bring down the number of bad posts?
