And the game of the year has started. Juve have put some muscle in the midfield and Carletto avoided the temptation of playing the x-mas tree formation.

No Maldini, injured. Billy plays.

3' The Ukrainian being helped off the pitch...he looks like he's struggling slightly...we'll keep you posted.
2' Emerson and Shevchenko challenge for a high ball and the Ukrainian slumps to the floor with a blow to the back of the head it would seem...no, rather his left arm... 1' Nedved busy early...spreading it wide to Camoranesi on the right, but his ball forward is easily cut out. Let's hope Sheva is allright |

From Eurosport: "3' Camoranesi with a loose ball forward...and Maldini cuts it out easily...Camoranesi then robs Seedorf...but can't make the most of it."
Is Maldini on, or are they simply mistaken? |

Milan now encamped in the Juve half...SEEDORF DINKS IT FORWARD FOR CRESPO! But just too strong and Buffon has it...
4' Kaka down the right...BEAUTIFULLY WEIGHTED BALL FOR SHEVCHENKO! BEATS A CHALLENGE! CROSS SHOT! CRESPO!!! WAS HE TUGGED BACK? He reckons he was, leaving him just inches short of touching that one in...superb movement. |

7' Cross comes in from the left....FINDS SEEDORF AT THE BACK POST!! VOLLEYS BACK ACROSS GOAL...deflected behind for the first corner of the game.
6' It looks like Zebina did pull back Crespo as he went for that ball from Shevchenko...that should have been a penalty. |
